This is the first movie I ever considered buying it before hand. Words can't describe the joy and suspense this movie has given me. Its mind bobbling and leaves the audience wanting more. Ever since the movie has came out, I went to go see it everyday. I am planning to go to every movie theater I know and watch Twilight. So all you EDWARD CULLEN/ ROBERT PATTINSON LOVERS OUT THERE, GO CHECK IT OUT! You don't want miss this movie. :]

I felt that the movie was poorly written. Flat acting. Edward and Bellas relationship didn't really grow like it did in the book. I loved the book, I would have sat through a 4 hour movie if they would have told the story like it is in the book. The movie left important things out and put things in themovie that made no sence. I thought it was a horrible dissapointment. Rosalie and Jasper were horrible actors.

Expected a bomb and got an AWESOME experience

The trailers for this movie did the film no justice! Even though I was unsure of the film, I am a true Twilight fan and made a t-shirt for opening night.

After seeing the previews I thought this film was going to be utterly horrible and cheesy and boy was I gratefully proven wrong.

This movie was EXCELLENT. If you read the book you get to laugh/understand the small details that non-readers overlook. If you did not read the books you can definitely enjoy this film.

The book is a wonderful love story and they were able to capture it beautifully in the film. This is definitely a movie that is great for young and old.

I loved this movie so much I plan on seeing it again during my Thanksgiving holiday.

i definitely think it's worth seeing ESPECIALLY if you've read the books. some of the characters were awkward and not the best choice, but i definitely think that the majority of them were wonderful.

i didn't necessarily like the way the relationships developed or didn't develop but i have seen the movie twice and i will see it again before it's out of theaters.

it was better the second time, for sure.

Although I thought it went a little fast in the beginning, the instant attraction I felt for Bella and Edward as the couple of the decade made me feel all warm and glowy!! I am completely in love with Edward Cullen and the chemistry these two have is beyond amazing! I cannot wait to see it again, much less have to wait for the 2nd movie! There were so many parts that Ioved... the baseball scene for one! The kiss was #1!!

The Twilight film plot stayed true to the book and many kudos to the casting agents - the actors represented the characters perfectly! Edward is incredibly hot.

I loved the books and went to the movie expecting the movie to be not great. It turned out to be so much worse! Acting was poor, cinematography was poor (too many close up shots on scenes that weren't even dramatic!), soundtrack wasn't great (I didn't even notice it for the first 45 min), and it didn't follow the book well enough. Edward was portrayed ruder than in the book, Rosalie was as well. Character had no depth in the movie. The three actors who played their characters well, Charlie, Mike and Emmet, had so few lines.
All in all, it was very disappointing.

I was sketchy about the actors, but I was very satisfied with the outcome, especially Rob Patterson. My only disappointment was that I don't feel the movie laid enough foundation to the connection of Charlies role in Bellas life, or the Cullen family or even Bellas friends as the book did... that was a main portion of the book that intrigued me to all the characters... it seemed to go from scene to scene without a transition.. thus it seemed choppy.. but other then that... I love the movie, I will go see the next one.. I hope they take more time into it since they should have the budget for it since the movie did so well this weekend

This movie was corny to me and reminded me of the lost boys and interview with the vampire (updated to modern times). The makeup for the vampires was hideous. In other vampires movies, when the vamps feed their color returns to normal (no matter what they feed on), these vamps stayed the same color no matter what! it is more for screaming teenage girls, which there were plenty of in our movie theatre. maybe i will enjoy the book more.

The movie was great. Only thing i didnt like was the girl who played Bella had an annoying voice and she blinked her eyes too much, and then the music wasnt right timing with the scenes. Though i am an Edward fan i would have liked to see more of Jacob...Of course i thought the book was SO much better, but i still enjoyed the movie. I will buy it when it comes out.

I thought that it was a great movie. I think they did a great job with the casting, except for Esme she was a little different looking than I thought she would be. The movie did a great job representing the book. Yes some parts were a little rushed and it didn't follow the book exactly, but the movie was on a strict budget and I thought it was great. It did a great job of molding all the impact and action scenes together. Great job and I can't wait for the next one!

In much of the movie whenever there was supposed to be a serious part between Bella and Edward a huge section of the audience, which were teens and preteens would laugh out loud hysterically. They could tell that the acting was simply that: acting. It wasn't believable to those kids. We were amazed to hear how much laughter went on in the audience throughout the whole movie. I thought to myself, "if the author of the book and director of the movie could be sitting in this theater now they would know that something went wrong in the directing of this movie."

Does Not Live Up to the Books

I did not feel that the movie did justice to the books but it was still a cute movie and unlike other movies made from books, this movie does not change too much from the book that it completely ruins the book. It had a different feel than the book, and Edward was definitely a difficult character to portray and Robert Pattinson did an okay job. Some scenes were really cheesy but it was expected. Despite all, I still loved the movie and would recommend that if you are a preteen or teenage girl, you should definitely go see it.

I think everyone knew it wouldnt be as good as the book. But honestly, whatshisface didnt do a very good job at acting and TOO much was cut it. Honestly, I was laughing really loud most of the time ti was sooo cheezy. But it was to be expected. I'll still probably go back and see it again. But dont go and see it if yuou havent read the books yet, it makes you feel like the books suck when they dont.

This movie was awful. Rob and Kristen have shown their abilities to be amateurish at best. Their lack of chemistry was mind boggling. I am not even sure if acting lessons would help these two. I know all the 14 year olds are out there gushing over Rob and rating his acting ability solely on looks but the harsh reality is he was bad. It is too bad Catherine Hardwicke isn’t a little more like James Cameron. Then we might have had a movie. Special effects were a bad joke if not scary. The scene with Rob exposing himself to sunlight looking like a sparkly drag queen topped him climbing the tree to proclaim Bella his spider monkey.
All in all this was a big fat disappointment and I wish I could get y money back.

I loved this movie. I was a little disappointed that it didnt match the book exactly, but then again, its Twilight the MOVIE. Not Twilight the BOOK. They're supposed to be different! Overall, i thought it was beyond amazing. The acting was great and the scenes were filmed well. I've already seen this movie twice. I went to the midnight showing on Thursday, November 20th, and i went last night, November 22nd. I'm planning on seeing it at least a few more times in theaters. :D

My daughter got me hooked on the books, so we saw the movie together. I think it was good and stayed pretty true to the book. I agree the movie was too short, and I also think that it could have been better. Most of the actors seemed to fit, however I think Jasper looked too much like Edward Scissorhands with his big eyes! I don't think the movie lived up to the hype of the previews. Overall it was good, but movies are never as good as the books!

the movie was actually really good, it wasnt as bad as i expected it to be because like all books that are made into movies, the book is always better. but there were alot of parts that i didnt like. like the part where they had that little talk in the forest and edward was all sparkly, i expected it to be way cooler! and plus i didnt like kristen stewart, i dont think shes a good actor . she wasnt believable. i dont think she fit the part of bella. but robert was amazing, he really seemed like the edward cullen i had imagined. :)

I was so excited to this movie. I read the books and feel in love with them. So I had extremely high hopes for the movie. After watching the movie I was and I wasn't dissapointed. I was because I thought it would have more... more what, I'm not sure, but it just did not feel right.. If I don't really compare it to the book and realize that it just can't be as good as the book, then I like it more a lot more. I just hope the next movie is even better!!!!!!

The first third of the movie was dry and slow. The characters acted like they were just reading their lines. There were many details from the beginning of the book that could have been included and would have made the first 1/3 of the movie so much better. The characters didn't act passionate in their roles at all the way the book portrayed them. If you could see behind the scenes it seemed like you would see two actors on the set who were very uncomfortable showing their feelings toward each other in front of the production crew. The lead girl was liked by all her classmates but never gave back to those characters emotionally either. She was much too quiet.

At the end of the movie I was left wanting more and ready for the sequel. It didn't feel like 2 hrs had past it all kept me so intrigued as if the screen was emitting a sweet perfume I couldn't get enough of. Everything progressed quickly in the film, but you can tell the change in time and they crammed as much info from the book as possible. When the DVD comes out an uncut version would be awesome, if it was 3 hrs long I'd still like to watch it over and over.

The movie was better than I expected! I love the first twilight book so much that I didn't expect the movie to be as good. Surprisingly, the movie turned out to be not disappointing. They did a great job with casting, the characters seem to fit the book perfectly, I especially love Rob Pattinson! But I think they should have done more with Edward and Bella's relationship. It seems that they fell in love too fast in the movie, it's a little unbelievable that they would love each other so much in such a short time. Overall, the movie was good. If you love the book, then you definitely has to see it!

like most movies, twilight cant be expected to fit everyone's favorite scenes into it, but it did an amazinggg job with the key plots. i thought all the actresses and actors fit the characters perfectly. kristen stewart and rob pattinson were absolutely astounding. rob's dedication to interpreting edward in his own way definitely showed and it paid off. for sure, im gettin the dvd so i can watch it over and over. =D and all of u will too. trust.

I thought the movie was pretty good! I thought that Robert Pattinson lived up to the "ridiculously beautiful" Edward. Kristen Stewart was ok as Bella, but I think Bella is an annoying character anyway. I was slightly upset at how the movie isn't spot on in terms of the book...but I mean, what can you do.

I'd definately see this movie again and I can't wait for a sequel!
