I've read all of the books so yes, the movie was different...didn't get into the Bella/Jacob relationship in the movie. I was concerned about the "sensual" rating taking my 10 yr. old daughter, but it was much milder than I expected. The movie was great...could have been longer! Can't wait for the next one!

Twilight lived up to all my expectations. I know it wasn't exactly like the book, no movie can ever live up to a book version! This was wonderfully written for the big screen! I will go again in a few weeks!

Despite the lower budget and the fact most of the actors had not done too many "big" parts, this movie was great! Rob and Kristen had such wonderful chemistry on the screen; it really helped the story, so real in our minds, come out. Kristen was exactly what I pictured as Bella when I had read the book and though Robert was not what I pictured initially, he very quickly moved into my vision. He is and will forever be my Edward. And, though they did cut out a lot of the remarks between Bella and Edward that helped make their relationship so irresistible, they did a good job of sticking to the book as much as possible. Giving how well it did at the box office, I am even more looking forward to the next one!!!

I watched it twice- first time was kinda of silly in comparison with the book series. It felt abrupt between scenes and the meadow scene was oddly put together... DON'T GET ME WRONG, I STILL ENJOYED IT. But, the 2nd time I watched it- I tried to see it like a regular movie watcher- I loved it. I'll watch it again!

They did very well translating the book's main themes in a different medium of detailed book to visual. It hit all the high points and for the budget it worked very well on many levels. Glad to know the next movie will be coming out and they will have a bigger budget to do more and better things.

Ok...so books are always better, but this movie was great! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Great pick for the actors. I can't wait for the other movies to follow. (I totally plan on buting Twilight when it is released to DVD also!)

I was very happy with how the movie turned out. I was a little worried that it would not do the book justice. I was wrong. Everyone who worked on this film did an amazing job. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart both proved themselves to be great actors. I'm looking foward to the next installment.

my wife and daughter are into the books...but i haven't ready any of them. i saw Twilight with my wife yesterday and found it quite enjoyable. good action...good cinematography...and a vampire story with a romantic twist. guys can enjoy this one and earn a "chick flick credit" at the same time!

I am a huge fan of the books and enjoyed the movie. The acting could have been a little better, it lacked character development, and the story was a little choppy, but if you know the book well then it was great! Might have been a little hard to follow if you were new to Twilight.

This movie was well done. I have read all the books, so I was a little concerned about the cast chosen when they were first displayed on the web. However, when I actually saw the movie, I was blown away with the likenesses of the cast to characters in the book that I was blown away. My daugther, who read only half of the first book, absolutely enjoyed the movie. I will be seeing this movie again!! WELL DONE!!

I thought Twilight was great. I saw the movie 12:01am Friday and again Sunday afternoon. I thought the actors did a great job portraying their characters. You can’t expect it to be exactly like the book, and I think they did a good job of condensing all the main parts into a 2 hour movie. I loved the baseball scene; it was great to see so many of the scenes from the book come to life on the big screen. I can’t wait for the next movie!

I have read the series, and truly enjoyed the books. I was expecting to be disappointed by the movie, but going in with such low expectations actually allowed me to truly enjoy it. I thought the actors were quite good, but it was obviously a low-budget film. My husband, who has not read the books, was not such a fan. I believe that was because, without knowing Bella's thoughts as you did the in the book, a lot was lost in translation. I hope the smashing financial success means that "New Moon" will have a much higher budget and a better opportunity to show just why so many people love the books.

The movie was more than I expected. It was lyrical and beautiful in a way that I didn't think it would be. The ticket price is worth it just to look at Rob...he is so devastatingly gorgeous! The women were all mesmerized and had trouble leaving the theatre when it was over. The adaptation of the book is lovely. Congragulations to all of the cast and crew!

I must say that I was a little afraid about seeing this book put into a movie and I went with not very high expectations but I walked out thinking "That was Great!" I absolutely loved it. It was fantastic and I LOVE Edward! The only thing that bothered me was that it wasn't from Edward's point of view enough.

I really liked this movie. I like many others had read the book before watching the film. I thought the movie went along with the book quite well. Of course they couldn't put everything from the book into the movie or else it would have been 6 hours long, still they got the major parts of the book and the romance between Bella and Edward was awesome! I would recommend this to anyone who likes the book or to someone who just likes a good romance with some action on the side. I give this movie a big thumbs way up!!!

If you read the book, you have no choice but to see the movie...but you'll need to use your imagination. The actors don't have the chemistry like in the book. They do follow the book in many many ways which is comforting, but I still wanted some more romance. I'd say, go see it because your curious, but don't expect to be swept away like the book. It's entertaining and what isn't great on a giant screen right?

I took my daughter to see this movie and we both loved it! We are planning to see it again. The storyline was great and it kept me completely interested throughout the whole movie. I love the way the characters were portrayed and thought the actors did a great job! If you loved the books you will definitely like this movie. I LOVED IT!

As a huge fan of the Twilight books I had to prepare myself for the fact that the movie could not be "exactly" like the book! At the midnight show, I wasn't very successful... not saying that it wasn't an enjoyable experience, just that I was still thinking, "I like the book so much more!" On Friday evening, we had a group of 16, all psyched and pumped for the movie, by then I was ready to enjoy in it's film version! The over all crowd experience was wonderful and the atmosphere of anticipation was great. I had over come my "book" issues and thoroughly enjoyed the movie, so much that am going a third time this week! That should tell you something. I hope for great success so that we may see the remaining books on film very soon!
