If you loved the book, you will enjoy the movie, but they really couldn't do the story total justice in 2 hours....it should have been longer. Rob Pattinson is totally convincing as Edward! Kristen Stewart wasn't my ideal Bella - but she was okay. The incredible love & commitment to one another portrayed in the book was not developed deep enough in the movie. There should have been A stronger physical connection. It was more PG than PG-13. Still, overall, a very good move & a must see for all Twilighters! Can't wait for the sequal(s).

I know that movies based on books hardly ever capture the true essence, but I thought that the movie was a bit awkward. I would have liked for Bella to be more sarcastic and for Edward to be a bit more amusing, at least that's how I perceived them in the book. Some of the scenes seemed contrived and a bit forced. All that being said however, I did enjoy the movie and would like to see it again.

I have read all four books and was excited to see the movie. Overall, I thought it was okay. It held pretty closely to the book and the actors did a decent job. Unfortunately, the special effects were not all that great (with the exception of the fight scene). I would not recommend seeing the movie without reading the book first. It definitely caters to those who already know the story. It will be interesting to see what they do with "New Moon."

I think that the movie was good as long as you don't compare it to the book. My daughter was very disappointed in the movie over simple things like what Edwards room was supposed to look like etc. So just focus on the movie and not what is different between the two.

I thought that the movie was good. It did miss a few important things. I think that there needed to be more about the relationships. Some of the "modern" things they added to the movie were a little cheesy. Overall, I would see it again & will buy it on DVD. Can't wait for New Moon.

I JUST LOVED IT!! I know there were a couple of changes from the book but I have to say that it was GREAT!! They stayed true to the love between Edward & Bella (which is THE MOST IMPORTANT part)!!! I would SO go see it again!

This was a great movie. I am a huge fan of the books and couldn't wait for this movie to come out. Like all movies, it wasn't as good as the books, but it was still worth it. My only complaint is the obnoxious teenage girls that ruined the experience for me! I spent $10 to listen to them scream when the lights went down, the title came up, Robert Pattinson came on screen and, of course, during any serious or romantic scene. I'm an older fan (25) so I would recommend seeing this movie during the day while they're still in school because otherwise you may find yourself just waiting for the movie to be over so you can get away from them!!!

I am pretty new to the whole phenomenon of this book series, but I have always been a fan of vampire movies and I was intrigued to see a different twist on this creature. Not only was it worth going to but me and my friend saw it again the next day. We have officially become fanatics like everyone else and I can't wait to see "New Moon" when it comes out. Great cast! Great story! A must see Film!!!!!

I saw the movie on Friday and then again on Saturday. I loved it just as much on Saturday as on Friday. I found that the movie followed the book pretty closely. I plan on reading the books again.

The movie was very well done. Though I have heard many complaints about the movie not being up to par with the book. Anyone who was expecting them to be equal is really just kidding themselves. I think the characters were all very well cast. Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattenson have a chemistry together. I look forward to seeing the rest of the series on the big screen

The books were amazing and very well written and I can not wait for her next one to come out. The movie was good and has a lot of story still to be told. I am not going to compare the movie to the books because I find it would do the movie an injustice. Both were great in their own right and I would go see the movie again. Horrible - absolutely horrible. How the author allowed the butcher of this book is beyond me. There were about 2 scenes in the entire movie that actually were somewhat true to the book. I don't know if it was the actors of the terrible screenplay but this was a huge disappointment. I don't even know if I will have the courage to see New Moon as they completely ruined this book for me.

I have watched the movie three times and it keeps getting better! It was casted perfectly and the actors portrayed their parts well. Do not go in expecting it to be exactly like the book. They did take some creative license, but it worked. I just wish it was longer. A must see!

Twilight readers have to go into this movie not be expecting it to match the book- it HAD to be made cinematical. - I do believe that the movie lacked the building of the relationship between Bella & Edward in the beginning- but the movie was still amazing. It portrayed every Twilighter's friends/spouse/whoever didn't read it- an excellent version of Twilight.

Was a good movie, would see it again. The running and climbing trees thing was a little over the top. I would change the sparkling sun part to look more dramatic instead of looking like sweat. His skin is supposed to look more like diamonds. I also would make the vampire's morph into something a little more scary when there were hunting or mad.

As I woke up this morning one thing was one my mind, to see Twilight again. Ever since the first time I saw it at the crazy midnight release all I've wanted to do is see this movie over and over again. This movies is one of the best movies I have ever seen and will become one of my favorites! I think everyone should at least see this movie, if they don't like it oh well, but I'm almost positive that most everyone will! Loved it.

I am a huge Twilight fan. No movie is ever as good as the book, but I think they did a pretty good job of bringing it to the big screen. I wish they could have made it longer so they could fit in a little more of the background behind the characters, but for 2 hours I think they used the best of what they had. The actors were great and I gotta say that everyone for the most part was how I pictured them when I read the books. I have already signed up to be notified once this movie becomes available on DVD.

I can be extremely picky when it comes to adaptations of books that I like but even though twilight wasn't exactly like the book, it kept to the real atmosphere and purpose of the book better than I would have thought possible. Also, my husband who had absolutely no desire to read the books and really didn't want to watch the movie absolutely loved the movie when I made him see it with me. He had no problem following the storyline and loved the action and scenery as well as the story. Now he's joined the legion of obsessed fans too!

I went not knowing what to expect and was blown away. The chemistry between Bella and Edward was perfect. I loved it. In fact i saw it three times over the weekend. Twice in DLP and once regular. If you have the choice, go to the Digital showing. The beauty of the landscape and the people who inhabit it is incredible in the digital version. Either way go to see it.
