All in all I loved the movie. I'm a huge twilight fan so I loved it! But from my critical side I think it could have been better. It was too rushed. It should have been more based on how Edward and Bella kept getting closer. And it transformed into this forbidden love story. I loved ALL the characters! Robert played the exact Edward personality (he looked so HOTT) I loved the Baseball scene,kissing scene, & when rosalie breaks the bowl, the meadow scene was cute, and the prom scene w/ jacob, also a good part was when victoria,james & laurent devour the guy in the boat.

Twilight was such a good movie. I freakin' loved it. I would soooo recommend it to anyone and everyone. This movie did a GREAT job following the book and I'm glad that it didn't stray like other books made into movies. I loved Rob Pattinson playing Edward! He did such a great job. There's such an amazing rollercoaster of emotions in the books that the readers experienced as well. I still felt all those emotions watching the movie. AWESOME!

I thought the movie was very entertaining. Not as good as the book, of course but still very good. I can't wait for the next movie to come out. I thought the actors did really well. Sometimes Robert would slip with his accent, but over all he did really well. Most of the characters were close to what I pictured as I read the books. Alice was taller than they describe in the books, but that's not a big deal. Charlie was just as I'd imagined him to be. Bella was wonderful. Overall this was a good movie. I'll definitely buy the dvd when it comes out.

I have read all the books and was worried that I would be disappointed, as I usually am with movies based on books. But the movie was wonderful! It followed the story line very well and I was very impressed with the movie!! I can't wait for New Moon!

This movie was absolutely amazing. Robert Pattinson was an amazing actor and perfect for the role of Edward Cullen. Hes very sexy and i just loved the movie as a whole and all the actors. I will admit he seemed more rude than I imagined at first but I can understand why he would have been and he was supposed to be in the book. so i dont know why people are complaining about that. I am definitely going to buy this movie when it comes out on DVD!

and by that I mean it was fantastic. I will say that after the first time watching this movie, I was unsure what my opinion was. Things were very different and I NEEDED to see it again to actually appreciate the differences. Now I just love it. The chemistry between Edward and Bella is sizzling! I've seen this movie 4 times and will be going back for more! Well done, Catherine Hardwicke and thanks to a very talented cast.

I thought the movies was good. Although i wish they would have put some parts that were in the book, in the movie, it was still true to form. I thought Rob Pattison did a great job as Edward although im not to sure about Kristine Stewart playing Bella. She is kinda of a dull person, when i invisioned Bella i thought of someone who was stubborn, and more enthusiastic, with passion in their voice.

I have not read this series and the only reason I went to see this movie because my teenage daughter was dying to see it. So, we went together and while we were eating dinner beforehand, she filled me in on the backstory. It sounded intriguing enough but I still thought there would be too much teen drama for someone who is forced to deal with it on a daily basis. Turns out, I was wrong. Yes, this is a movie about people in the teenage bracket but the characters are interesting and this story works better because of Bella's youth. I was enthralled the entire time and want to see it again. Luckily, I have a willing participant but I think I will pick up the book as well!

This movie was in my opinion one of the best movies in creation! It mostly was based off the book, all the scenes, but I loved it so much! Definatly buying the DVD the day it comes out, and I know many others that also will. The characters chosen for the rolls were perfecto, the movie was a humungous SUCCESS!!! And I can't wait for the others to come out!

It's a good movie as long as you don't compare it to the book. Yes, the transitions between scenes was a little odd and their "special effects" were lacking but what can one expect with such a short budget. It doesn't live up to the book because that's almost impossible. I definitely will see it again.

We read this book for my book club and I loved it, so I ended up reading the whole series. Two of my book club friends went to see it with me as soon as it opened. I thought Edward was cute, but not as good looking as Jacob! But I think my expectations were so high for Edward that unless it was a buffer version of my husband playing the role I wouldn't have been attracted to him. I expected Edward to be wearing nicer clothes. But it was a great movie!!! GO SEE IT!!!

Second time around was much better....If you read the books(like who hasn't) prior to seeing the movie, you may experience an emptiness after watching it. The movie did feel rushed and editing could use a little tweaking but other than that, it did what it was suppose to do, entertain and somehow made you want to believe in the impossible. Very cute & innocent. (And the most important character - Edward. Perfect casting, he did a fab job)

I've never read any of the books, so as a movie, I thought it was pretty good. A little odd at the start, since I didn't know the story and I wasn't sure what exactly was going on with all the wordless interactions, but I caught on and found the story to be pretty interesting.
In the end, though, it comes off as a bit of a chick flick; there's not much here to hold the attention of someone who wants a real vampire story or an action movie. But as was stated before, this is from the perspective of someone who's never read the books and is reviewing the movie as just a movie.

well, i have been an forever adoring twili-tear for a long time, almmost so bad that my other twilight friends were not inviting me any where because i was too over obsessed. when the movie was coming out i pretty much knew it would be stupid because the movies never turn out like they should, if they could the movies would need to be 10 hours long. But after sitting in the theater and screaming with all my might (by the way i was the only one and i kept getting yelled at to shut up) i relised that the movie was acually done really well! i loved it!!!! but i think that if you did not read the books however i think at times you would be lost.
