I personally LOVE the books.. i think this movie actually did a very very good job of making what i imagined in my mind come to life. there were only a few minor things that i could pick out that were noticebly different than the book... it was such a rush watching this movie
I would watch this movie over and over again and not get sick of it

Overall it is absolutely a great movie. They did have to change a few things. But hey it is a long book and they can not fit everything in a 2 hour time slot. They got the most important things right though. I actually plan on seeing the movie again. On a side note I think the sound track went really well with the movie. Two thumbs up!!

I went in with low expectations because there is no way a movie can capture everything the way a book can. The movie turned out almost as I expected. There were alot of things that I wish they would have added such as the intensity that Edward & Bella have especially in the lunch room. I wish they would have spent more time on that and less on the vampire killings. I also think that they should have been more on point with the Cullen home since it will be revisited in the other movies. Overall the movie was good but not great. I hope that they do much better in the next 3 movies.

It was pretty good but a few elements really brought my love for it down. It was ok other than that. Except the actors.... ugh i hated bella and edward could have been better. Victoria needed redder hair and Jacobs extension make him look creepy. I luv luv luved James, Alice, Emmett, and Rosalie!!!! Jasper was pretty good as well. Overall pretty good. =P

Great film didn't know about storyline before just heard all the hoopla. It was sorta like the Potter craze so I went and looooved it! I'm a sucker for a good romance anyway and the tension between Bella and Edward was brilliant I knew the book had to be even better cause that's always the case so I went and got the book right after now I have something to occupy me till Half-Blood Prince comes out.

I loved the book and was really excited to see the movie!!! I went to a midnight showing!!! Compared to the book, it was an okay movie because the book is soo much better. I loved the movie and am definitely going to see it again!!!! It is especially great for teenagers because of the sarcasm used in the film that appeals to teens of my generation....I loved it and enjoyed it!!!!

If you've read the book(s) then you'll understand how important it was for these characters to be cast by the perfect actors. Whoever did the casting did exactly that. You can't help but sigh the first time, and every time, you lay eyes on Edward and you become attached to Bella and all the others as well. This movie may be for teenagers (I have about a dozen teenage girls in my world) but this 42 year old mom feels like a teenager herself when she enters the world of Twilight!

Even though the movie left out some details that were in the book and rushed most of the movie :( it was still good and i really liked it. I would definetly recommend to go see this movie. I know eveyone's really into it (including me lol) and its kinda overatted but thats not why i would go see it. It was a pretty decent movie based on the limited amount of time and budget they had for it. I'm so going to see it again :)

This movie was better than I expected. There was stuff for both guys and girls. The fight scene was awesome. There were some things that bugged me though. The connection between Edward and Bella seemed rushed and the other characters weren't as developed as in the books. But over all, it was an awesome movie. Go watch it. I wouldn't mind watching it again.

ive read all the books, and id have to say this movie was amazing . we all know that it wasnt exactly like the book but we also know we were all secretly dying for more. edward (rob) was SO amazing and kristen stewart did an awesome jobbb at being bella. we all have different views of edward but hey, rob pattinson is amazing. as i left the theater for the 2nd time i felt happy/sad because i knew the movie wasnt real. i plan on seeing it a 3rd time. if you havent read the book you cant fully understand the movies magic. but. ITS AMAZING. so please goo seee it!:)

I read Twilight a 2nd time the week before the movie & I was disappointed. The director assumed everyone watching the movie had read the book, but I think that was a mistake. I think the writing & directing was shoddy. Jasper was a joke - the entire theatre exploded in laughter everytime he was on screen. Bella's stuttering and blinking were annoying. All the moony-eyed nonsense between Bella and Edward was over the top as well. I think the characters needed to be fleshed out a bit more to make the us care about them the way S. Meyer did. The director & writer took a great book & decimated it for the big screen. I realize the book wasn't written with my demographic in mind, but I loved it and should have loved the movie, too.

When I was waiting in line for five hours in a theater in southeastern Wisconsin, I thought the wait would never end. But finally, I sat down in the theater--the fifteen minutes I waited there seemed like nothing! When the movie finally began, it seemed so unreal--Twilight, the movie I'd been following for months with trailers, interviews of the cast and crew, and general news, was coming up on the big screen! The beginning was awesome. You know, if someone would have been sitting right next to me and willing to listen, I probably could've told that person at least almost every single part from the book that was missing or changed, but in spite of that, it was still the best movie I've seen in my life. GO SEE IT!

It sucked. They should have stuck with the story alot better. Some of the parts were okay but they're wasn't enough romance or details to know what was going on in the movie if you are one of those people who have never read the book. I liked the characters except for Edward and Jasper. The character for Edward looked like he had botox and Jasper looked constipated. lol. I laughed through the whole movie when they showed their face!!!

I think this movie did the book justice. I know it wasn't exact, and it wasn't 100% perfect but I still think it was good! The movie went a bit too quickly through some parts i admit. True, Rob isnt as perfect as I had envisioned but he is still VERY good looking! Kristen and Rob did a very good job at the chemistry between Edward and Bella and made it very good. I give my thanks to Stephenie Meyer, we love all that you have done. I am happy to say that I am a dedicated Twi-heart and I have gotten about 8 people hooked, INCLUDING MY MOM! I hope everyone that hasn't read the books takes my advice and does what I did, buy every book and read them like a true obsessee :)

I have actually seen the movie twice. The first time, I felt it was a little "choppy" but I think now it is because I anticipated the events of the story in my mind like the book and this film is very different from the book. I think the casting is outstanding!!! I believe Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are perfect as Edward and Bella!!! Rob brought to life a tortured anguished Edward and seeing these characters on the screen was surreal. I don't think the film was nearly as good as the book. However, I've seen it twice and will likely see it at least once more before it leaves the theatres!!

I will not lie, going into the movie, I had my doubts but once the movie was over they had all been wiped away. The movie was an excellent adaptation of the novel. The Summit team did not lie when they said they would stay true to the essence of the novel. The casting was great, the actors portrayed the characters perfectly. While it was not 100% perfect, it was close enough and definitely worth it. I can't wait until New Moon.
