INCREDIBLE MOVIE!!!!

This movie was FANTASTIC!! You need to read the books though. There were parts in the movie that were not in the book and lots of parts in the book that were not in the movie. The books are great and this movie was too. You will love it. You will understand it ten times better if you read the book first, there are alot of jokes that arent told and you will better understand if you read the book. Everyone should go see it!!

As a fan of the books, I was EXTREMELY disappointed with the movie, not onle were events not accurately potrayed but the film was of poor quality. I give the movie 3 stars because the characters were casted accurattely, but the books have my 5 stars!

I saw the movie at midnight. it was awesome. i have been anticipating this move before the cast was cast! so much gorgeous-mess in the movie, and I cant wait for the 2nd one. MY LIFE IS COMPLETED RIGHT ABOUT NOW!

I absolutely loved this movie. In my opinion, it was an extremely good adaptation from the book. I disagree that you need to read the book before watching this movie to enjoy or understand it. I do think that reading the book grants you much greater insight into the plot but it is not necessary to enjoy the film. I cannot wait for New Moon!

This movie was wonderful other then the graphics. I believe they should have made a few more details with the running it looked almost to annimated. But, in other words i love it. The actors really expressed their feelings and made you part of the movie. Oh and Rob has a lovely voice.

If you read the books, you have to see the movie. Edward Cullen brought it to life. Bella was a little too stand offish and I didn't see as much of their chemistry and funny conversations as I would've like. But when he smirked and smoldered at her I was fifteen again.The scenery was amazing. The bad guys weren't as bad as they could have been. The movie stayed true to its preteen fanbase and story content. 4 stars.

I love the books and even tho the movie went along kinda fast, it was so good. There are parts that people who didnt read the book wont get. They did a really good job casting the movie, Edward and Jacob are really cute.

I enjoyed the Twilight series as much as my 21 year old daughter and my son's 17 year old girlfriend. I went in with no expectation, only to have fun. Mission accomplished! It was exciting and funny. The chemistry between Bella and Edward was everything it was promised to be and it carried the movie. It was very visually appealing and the cinematography was beautiful. Of course, the script had to leave out all the gripping details of the book and if you hadn't read the book, you might have wondered why the story line seemed a little thin. Some of the dialog was kinda cheesey, but all the fans in the audience seemed to be able to over look it. Over all, I got my dose of fun and voyoristic bit of romance.

Lives up to the hype!

If you read the book series, then you absolutely love the movie! The movie totally lived up to my expectations (my expectations were pretty high). The screenwriter did an excellent job transferring the book into a movie. If you have the read the books, then you will love all the little innuendos throughout the movie that will make you laugh out loud. All the characters did an exceptional job, especially Edward, Rosalie, and Jasper (he was great). I was not at all disappointed.

I LOVED IT! I could not have asked for a better adaptation. The humor was just a bonus in my book. Edwards sparkle was just beautiful. I loved the baseball scene! The only people who seemed to be bothered by the movie were the 12 year olds who set their expectations to high. Words of advice for those who have not gone yet, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF EDWARD KEEP AN OPEN MIND AND ENJOY! The movie is 95% true to the book and the 5% left is only left because of the order of events and some things happening in different places than they did in the book. For me this did not ruin my experience. The flow of the movie and all the things they got right was just so fulfilling. Summit get on the ball with those sequels!

I was def. not expecting this as the movie. it was really good to an extent. It jumped around too fast if you didn't read the book you would be lost. I didn't like how choppy it was it seemed to highlight just the main parts of the book and put them all out of order. It really was a good movie though don't get me wrong. I would recommend it to some one who isn't a total twilight fanatic the big fans would probably be a little disappointed although they have probably already seen it.

I though that the movie was amazing! It had alot of the same things in the books (which I have read religiously since they came out). I also enjoyed the things they added and changed. It felt like you were learning new things about the story and the characters. The actors did an awesome job too! The chemistry between Robert and Kristen was amazing. I loved the awkwardness about them both. I definitely think that everyone should see the movie because its got romance, comedy, action, and anything else you could ever want!

I thought the movie coincided with the book but like someone else said there was a few things missing that would have made the book a lot better. My big disappointment was the fact that you couldn't hear what Bella was thinking like the book. Edward was hot though, too much for me, too bad he doesn't look like that everday... :)

This was a great movie, especially if you've read the books! It was better than what I expected. Generally, it was true to the book with a few changes made, but nothing really important was changed. The Cullens were the best part! All of them rocked. It was very fast paced in the beginning, which left out some good parts from the book and might be confusing if you had not read it, but it just got better as the movie progressed! You have to see this movie :)

This movie was amazing!! I do agree that you should def read the book if you want to truly understand what is going on. The style of filming was way different than normal, so be prepared for that! This was everything I hoped for and more!! I can't wait to see it again!!!

After months of hearing about Bella & Edward, I took my daughter to see the movie. I was impressed. This was truly a great movie. There were no curse words or vulgar sex scenes. This goes to show you that you can still make a good movie without the trash. Guys, if you are looking for blood and gore, this is not the movie for you. If you want to win a girl’s heart, it is a must see.

Book is always Better

The acting by the vampires was a little stiff, and some important things were left out (TO be expected) Basically, don't go to the movie thinking this is the book on screen, its not. It's a movie based on the book. Thinking of it as its own movie, it was AMAZING. As a movie of the book not so much. Very funny and also very intense. Loved it!

Books are better than movies....

Before heading to the theater I read some reviews that I had a hard time believing until I saw the film itself. R. Patz didn’t have an alluring voice & everything about him was just awkward (His English accent snuck out at odd moments). K. Stew. Can’t act. She has 1 expression & 1 tone of voice & sadly the Cullen’s only had 15 minutes of fame.
It was extremely true to the book and there were several KEY lines that I liked how they incorporated.
Overall, all things considered (like 2 leads that had no chemistry nor could they act & HUGE expectations to meet as well as poor camera work) I enjoyed the film. I give it 4 stars for effort.
Hopefully between now & when New Moon comes out, R. Patz and K. Stew will take some acting classes.

Worst Disappointing Letdown

I LOVE the Twilight books, but this movie was the worst hyped and biggest letdown. Yes it was done on a small budget and you can definitely tell. The special effects were really corny, the acting (aside from Dr. Cullen and Charlie) was pretty bad and there were huge holes in the story line so those that hadn't read the book really missed a lot of necessary information. The story was too rushed and scenes that needed some time were lumped together.
I know movies have a short time frame and don't always follow the books exactly, but if they do make the next 3 they need a new director and better acting out of the main characters. My theater was laughing the whole movie at the ridiculousness of it.

No, I do not recommend this movie.

The movie was pheneomenal! I couldnt think of a better way to bring this book to life. Edward was a creepy in the beginning as he should have been, Rosalie showed pure hatred toward Bella, Charlie was just as akward around Bella as he should have been.....it was all great. Now obviously it cant include everything from the book, so dont get upset if some minor parts aren't there because you have to realize how boring it would be if the movie drug on more than it did. Overall, I think the acting was better than I first thought it would be, and the comedy was good too, especially if you read the books.

Reading the book is essential in watching this movie. Without doing so some of the implications/ situations are lost to viewers. Audience members who had read the book, laughed during parts others would not understand.
Some of the scenes were ackward but overall the movie was pretty good. Teenage girls loved it!
