Books are better than movies....

Before heading to the theater I read some reviews that I had a hard time believing until I saw the film itself. R. Patz didn’t have an alluring voice & everything about him was just awkward (His English accent snuck out at odd moments). K. Stew. Can’t act. She has 1 expression & 1 tone of voice & sadly the Cullen’s only had 15 minutes of fame.
It was extremely true to the book and there were several KEY lines that I liked how they incorporated.
Overall, all things considered (like 2 leads that had no chemistry nor could they act & HUGE expectations to meet as well as poor camera work) I enjoyed the film. I give it 4 stars for effort.
Hopefully between now & when New Moon comes out, R. Patz and K. Stew will take some acting classes.
