While not as good as the book, this movie rocked!!!! The fight scene was the best and I loved how they used a lot of lines from the book! The only thing I wish they would have spent more time on is Bella and Edwards relationship. In the book, Bella and Edward are truly soul mates and truly in love. I wish the movie would have shown that a little better. I truly believe that these books are the best ever written. I also think that it is virtually impossible to create a movie that would truly encompass all facets of Stephanie's books. So, I think they did an awesome job! I can't wait to see it again, and I can't wait to see how the next three movies turn out!

I read the books and loved them and I loved the movie. The characters were awesome and I cannot wait that the other books will come to the screen too. It was a beautiful love story, very entertaining not only for the teenagers. I for sure will see it again in the theater and will own the DVD as soon as it comes out.

Wow! that's the first thing that comes into my mind as i think of Twilight. After hearing a lot of hype and comments about whether the movie was good or not, i went into the movie with low expectations. After reading the books I knew that the movie was not going to be as good. but i was wrong. Twilight was amazing. it was shot in a beautiful location and just the way the camera angles were shot was mesmerizing to me. The acting was also surprising they all did a fantastic job. i think Hardwicke will continue doing a superb job with the upcoming movies. It is definately worth watching if you are a fan of the books, it kept true to the books, more than most movies promise.

"As a fan of the books, I only had one problem with the movie...the flow of the movie was too fast for me. Other than that I thought it was a good adaption from the book and it stayed true to it.

When I was going into the movie, I was ready for disappointment. The movie was a lot better than I expected. It had my crying, laughing, and overall very happy. The movie stuck to the book, yet Cathrine added her own flavor to it. The only criticism I have for it, was that Robert could have stepped up his acting. He was quite bad at points. Besides him, Peter, Kristen, Ashley, Jackson, Kellen, Cam, Rachelle, Edi, and Taylor delivered.

i absolutely loved the movie. it was well made and if you read the books, it was really enjoyable. if you havent read the books, id say pass on the movie just because it would probably be hard to understand. for true twilight fans, i'd say it was definitely a hit!

The movie was alright; I'm really not sure if I would have liked it any better had I not read the books prior to viewing. The lines were misplaced in scenes, and chronology was off. Then entire scenes were misrepresented (the mirror scene and her first time in Edward's room). It was disappointing that they thought they couldn't follow the real story line. Needless to say, Bella and Edward were portrayed as ridiculously dramatic teenagers because the time wasn't taken to show their love evolving. The next movie won't make much sense after this one since so much was left out. It was mostly just really awkward. The make-out scene was totally hot, though - good job!

The movie seemed like a beginners movie, the actors and the director/producer etc all seemed very unexperienced. in that respect the movie was good, however if you read the book right before you go you will be highly disappointed in the differences. If you have in your mind that Bella and Edward are very sure of the words they speak and do not mumble/stutter excessively, you will also be disappointed. The best part was the baseball scene and the hunt, the entire movie should have been way more serious rather than more of a joke and more intense. I feel like i watched an intended comedy. James' acting was surperb, as well as Charlie's.

There is no way people can take any book and make it into a movie and have them be the same. Two different story views. Yes some things were changed, taken out or deleted. But they told the story very well.

Warning: This movie is what we affectionately refer to as an "indi film" also known as an "independent film". All of the usual characteristics of such a film are there.
I loved it, I love Stephenie Meyer, who has a cameo in the movie, and I thought it did a great job of getting all the proper plot elements, that was needed for the adaptation, while adding some snazzy effects to spice things up. The mood and tone of the film fit Stephenie Meyer's style, if you listen to her playlists on her website this is the style she was aiming at in the books and the movie incorporated that.
Not to mention, my state rocks, and the cinematography was amazingly beautiful.

The movies are never better than the books. Considering the depth and complexity of Stephenie Meyers writing, it would be difficult for any studio, director or actor to portray. I thought they did a good job. Kristen Stewart brought Bella to life and although there were instances where Robert Pattison, in my opinion, over-acted a bit, he was the perfect Edward. Exactly as I had created him in my mind. I would definately recommend this movie to anyone. If you are a fan of the books, just remember what I said earlier.. the movies are NEVER as good as the books. Appreciate the differences between the pages and the screen.
P.S. the music choices were AMAZING. I recommend the album to EVERYONE!

Overall, it was a good movie. The only thing I wasn't happy was that they didn't have the Biology incident, and they made Edward look like he was going to be sick, when he saw her in the science classroom. The sparkles made him look like he was burning, and the meadow was not planned. The movie moved too fast.

I found that the movie had me falling in love with Edward just as the book had, and im still desperately jealous of Bella. But I also found that the special effects of the movie seemed outdated and made the movie seem less real. Stephanie did a really good job of making Edward real and the movie ruined that. Still a good movie overall. A lot of people were dissappointed in the ending, different from the book, but I can understand that the writers needed to set up for New Moon. Wish Edward was mine because Im in loveward. :)

I seriously enjoyed the movie. I had to constantly remind myself to breath, plus I didn't even eat my candy because I was so involved in the movie. There were some parts that needed some tweaking, but if you didn't read the books, you'd probably like it anyways. But I seriously suggest to read the books first. Twilight just took my breath away.

The movie will not disappoint Stephenie Meyer fans. Careful watchers will find extra content in the back ground of each scene; look at the art work in Bella's bedroom, the owl wings in Biology. There are subtle hints of Stephenie's writing throughout the film. Watch for a special cameo in the cafe.

This movie was a funny adaptation to stephenie meyers best seller book, Twilight. It definatly met my expectations as a die hard twilight fan. It had it's momnet where I wanted to cry, and ohters where I couldn't stop laughing. Well worth waiting an hour in line for, and paying extra for. I want to go see it again, and can't wait for New Moon, hopefully! True to the Twilight name, AMAZING!

I really liked this movie. The movie was a bit fast, but that's to be expected. It followed the book fairly close. The movie held your attention and there were humorous parts as well as romantic parts. The characters were brought to life with the cast. Overall I thought they did a good job with capturing the essence of the book. There were all ages of people enjoying the movie in our theatre and the line was out into the parking lot of the theatre.

Overall I thought the movie was excellent! I LOVED all of the books and was anxious to see how it would come together with the movie. There was a lot of details cut out from the book which had to be done for the sake of time and there were a few minor details that were different from the book that bothered me but not enough to hinder my overall opinion of the movie. I would definately recommend it to those who have read the book, my husband who did not read the book had a little trouble following the storyline. Loved the casting of the major characters!!

I loved this movie!!! I am a huge fan of the books, and have read all four. I took my teenage daughter with me to see this movie, and she also loved it. I am hoping to see it again tomorrow. Before I saw the movie I was not too happy with Robert Pattinson playing the role of Edward, but he did a fantastic job, and he was so cute in the movie!!! I do wish that some of the scenes were longer and truer to the book, but I do understand that they had to condense it into two hours. Hope for some extra/longer scenes on the DVD!!!!
