Wow! My 13 yr. old daughter and I really loved this movie. We want to see it again! Very true to the book. Wish there was a little more kissing between Edward and Bella, though. They did more of that in the book.

I read through the second book in 6 hours because I wanted to find out what happens to Bella and Edward ( and Jacob too). I was so happy to hear about this movie. I think that they did a great job of adapting the movie from the book. The changed and edited only what they had to in order to tell the 600 pages in 2 hours. It was so good, that if I didn't need the $20 for bills and food I would be sitting in front of the movie screen one more time but this time with my husband ( I talked to him about it all night like a little girl and her first crush!) But I will wait for "new moon" and just reread the books while I wait.

While parts of the movie were pretty cheesy I figure thats how it should have been. It followed the books pretty well although there were a few things I was a little annoyed with but overall I will definitely see it again in theaters and most likely buy it right when it goes to video. Loved it!

To be completely honest I was disappointed with the way this movie was made, I expected a lot more from it. It skipped over major parts and made all the good romantic scenes in the book really hokey. I just hope the next three movies are done better.

Overall it was a great movie. If you have read the book than you may think that compared to the book every thing is moving to fast, but after that it was wonderful. If you haven't read the book watch the movie than read the book but both were great.

This film was much better than I was expecting. Of course, viewers should go into the movie knowing that movies are never as good as the books they love, so that helps the enjoyment of the movie. I do think that reading the book prior to seeing the film is important, many of the facial expressions and moments are not really explained - they are obvious to us who have read the books, but may be confusing to those who haven't. I think the casting was very well done, and each put in a great performance. I was concerned about the casting of Kristin Stewart at first, but she really impressed me - as did Rob Pattinson. I loved it and highly recommend it to all who have read these beloved books.

I thought this was a great movie. I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone. I would also recommend to read the book first. The acting wasn't the best and a lot of the dialogue sounded corny but they can't make this exactly like the book. And a lot of the parts from the book were cut but this is a 500+ page book fit into a 2 hour movie. Overall I loved it. The love scenes were great and there were a lot of funny parts.

I am 25 & enjoyed the books so much I read them 3x's. Yes I do have a life :). Because I enjoyed the books so much I didnt think the movie would be able to hold a candle to it. It did hold that candle. Though the dialouge & certain events were cut dramatically due to length, what they had was more than I expected. They added alot of humor & it was beautifully shot. The actors did an amazing job at making their characters believable. They all had great chemisrty. Though some of the lines that were added/cut from the book left a couple of the scenes feeling a little cheesy and parts of the story line a little thin, they did an amazing job at bringing the book to life.

no doubt the movie wasn't exactly as i pictured the book but i wasn't disappointing one bit. i know it cant possibly be easy to fit 500 pages into 2 hours. but i without a doubt loved it

I took my daughter and her friend to see Twilight. I never thought it would keep me on the edge of my seat. It was full of suspense, cool features, and very romantic. We read the books and can't wait to see the next movie that comes out. We all agree that Edward is HOT!

I read all the books and was looking forward to seeing Twilight. Sorry to say it was a huge disappointment. The movie absolutely massacred the book. The acting was laughable and the narration totally annoying. It was way too cheesy to take seriously. If you didn't read the book, you might like the movie, but I doubt it.

We went with a group of 7 to see the movie ranging in ages from 16 to 50. Some of us had read the book and some hadnt. What we all came out saying was "Cant wait to see New Moon"....the acting was a little cheesy in places but the movie was fun and romantic - & we totally LOVE Edward!! Those of us that hadnt read the book were going home to start reading last night. Thanx so much to Stephenie Meyer for such a fun-filled evening!!

I loved the book so i was extremely excited to see the movie, i brought along a friend who had never read the book, i thought that it left out all the parts (mostly dialog) that made the book, but my friend thought it was very good, so either way if youve read the book or not its a movie to see!

i LOVED the movie!! even though there were some awful parts [the meadow/forest] it was really good. i also liked the ending with victoria because i think it makes viewers more interested. oh yeah, and Robert Pattinson was GORGEOUS!!!!

This movie was all that I expected it to be. My friends and I are die-hard fans of the Twilight series and have been planning this movie event for close to a year! The theatre was packed full of more outrageous fans; we were all literally clapping and screaming at the beginning and end of the film. The chemistry between Bella and Edward was intoxicating, and the soundtrack was equally stunning. major kudos to the author and producers!!

The movie was OK but was very slow in many spots. Very much a movie for the Teenage girls age 12-18 As there was a bunch of them screaming and cooing over Edward and Jacob. The movie had a few good points but for most of it I was just left waiting for either more background on the story or something to happen. The "romantic" tension between Edward and Bella was way overplayed.
Would not recommend wasting good money at the theater wait for rental if they make a second I hope they learn from their mistakes.

This movie was amazing! It was everything that I thought it would be, after reading the saga. I have already seen it twice and I am hoping to get to go again soon. The chemistry between all the characters was absolutely incredible and I can't wait for the sequal! I would definitely recommend this to everyone, so GO SEE IT!

It was a good movie. I mean they rushed it a little, but they had to fit a big book in to only 2 hrs. EDWARD WAS SOOOO HOT! unfortuantely jacob was too, Mike looked just as i pictured him. lauren wasn't in it for some reasong, kind of random. But overall, it was awesome. When edward kissed bella, it was the SLOWEST KISS EVER! it was such an lol moment. Jasper kinda looked funny, they the described him as the boy that looked like he was in pain all the time, overall I LOVE EDWARD CULLEN

i really did enjoy the flim, i liked the way they stuck close to the storyline. I really appreciated the actors that protrayed bella and edward, as well as the rest . Oh, and was that the author in the restarant sceen??? sitting at the counter? i know steven king liked to do cameos in his flims, i really thought that was stephanie myers.

The hype of this movie could not compare to the books. It was painfully awkward to watch what were meaningful serious parts of the book turn into comedic scenes. The actors lived up to my expectations, but in looks only!! The only positive thing I can say is that any sequel could only go up from here!! I am so disappointed they did not concentrate on the real love story of these to characters.

-choppy script (Bella and Edward's relationship? RUSHED!)
-great casting (Perfect looking)
-poor acting (Everyone laughed at Edwards "agony" face)
-cut scenes (IMPORTANT scenes not included)
-added scenes (some okay but others not so much)
-MEADOW SCENE WAS HORRIBLE
-what happened to Alice and Bella's relationship?????
I cannot believe Stephanie Meyer signed off on this.
I will watch it again and i will watch the sequals and hopefully more money for the movies will translate to better films.
Watch it. Don't take my word for it. Some people really liked it.
