This film was much better than I was expecting. Of course, viewers should go into the movie knowing that movies are never as good as the books they love, so that helps the enjoyment of the movie. I do think that reading the book prior to seeing the film is important, many of the facial expressions and moments are not really explained - they are obvious to us who have read the books, but may be confusing to those who haven't. I think the casting was very well done, and each put in a great performance. I was concerned about the casting of Kristin Stewart at first, but she really impressed me - as did Rob Pattinson. I loved it and highly recommend it to all who have read these beloved books.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
