as a comic book fan you will hate deadpool. he is an assasin with healing power. not the big bad villian who shoots cyclops power beams out of his eyes. he was done right sort of at the beginning of the movie. if you comebine zero wade with wolverine's healing power you got deadpool.

THIS MOVIE IS NOT FOR DIE HARD MARVEL FANS!!! They screwed up numerous things. The way Deadpool was portrayed was completely wrong.... The "WeaponX" program was carried out by the Canadian government, not the US. I was very disappointed with this movie. For the casual fan, or someone looking to be entertained, this is a good movie.

It was good and I did love it, but I felt the plot moved a bit too fast and they were missing some character development. Overall the movie was action packed and fun to watch.

It was pretty good. Hugh Jackman did another incredible job portraying Wolverine. Liev Schreiber was an excellent Victor Creed / Sabretooth. While the ending left some members of the audience saying "Huh?" the movie itself was very entertaining. Sure enough, some comic fans will not like what they did to Deadpool. However, movie goers in general will like this movie very much.

I was impressed with the story line. It had depth and action sequences. The action was great. It stayed true to the story of the first Xmen too, unlike some pre quels of some movies that go back to earlier they stray from how they come about. This one kept true, I really was impressed with this movie and think all will enjoy.

Not at all. This movie is pretty bad. It tries to do too many things and fails at all of them. I'm not at all against changing the source material if it ends up being good for the movie, but this movie ruined the source material and looked terrible doing it. I don't feel to waste too much time ranting about this movie, but one example is anything involving Deadpool after the first 20 minutes of the movie.

Wolverine as been around since the mid 70's and the character has had a lot of history in print since then. All the writers had to do was take the basic story down, but they could not do even this.
The movie barely follows the comic at all and is more about special effects than it is about telling a story.
Check it out but be prepared for a let down.

I was both surprized and pleased by the (well most of the) changes to the story. I am and have been an xmen / wolverine fan and was personaly glad to see the awesome changes to this already great story line. However they tried to fit to much in to fast should have been a little longer the begining of the movie felt like they were putting to much together to fast but a must see for fans and noobs.

There was a lot of amusing action to see and enjoy in the theater, but it was over done. Obviously the whole story is fiction but the there was a lot of inconsistency with the story and the acting was too acted. Not to mention Professor Xavier could not have more make up on in the end. It was entertaining but it can wait to be seen on a nice flat screen with surround sound.

This movie was cool and fun to watch. I was bothered by a few things, though. The CGI could have been done better with Wolverine's claws being the most noticeable imperfection. Also, I acknowledge that things will be different from the source material, but Deadpool was made into an entirely different character with different abilities as well as several other characters. Overlooking this the action and plot were great!

Although this movie was made for the general public and not for comic book fans, I felt it was a very entertaining movie. I would have liked to see Logan's earlier life before the Weapon X program rather than trying to get as many X Men character cameos in the movie as possible. All in all it was a great action movie and I would recommend any comic fans just go watch it for the entertainment value, not for the story.

The story was butchered. Period. Gambit was put into this movie strictly for the sake of finally saying Gambit's been in a movie. The guy they picked for him was entirely wrong, a terrible choice. Wolverine is an action based character, where was the action? I highly recommend against this movie.

This movie delivers what is promised, a really good comic book movire. better then any of the x-men movie, better then the hulk movies. This reminds me of the newer batman movies, but not quite as good. This movie sticks to the comic more, but not 100% there. This is a comic movie but they do a good job as making it seem possible like the batman movies, in x-men it was very corny and cheesey this movie is not like that more serious and taking it from an aproach that this is a possilbitly which makes the movie more fun to watch. if you liked iron man or the newer batman movies this is right up there a very good movie.

Lets be honest... the only reason I would see an XMen movie is if Wolverine were in it... This movie is Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet... I think Sabertooth's character stole the show... unlike the actor in the first series of movies... (wasn't that triple H lol)... the tag team with Wolverine and Sabertooth was sweeeet... And who doesn't love Gambit?..... I think they rushed the ending a little bit with the whole memories thing... but I know they had to wrap it up... 5 stars baby...

Though die hard lovers of the comicbook series may cringe at the liberties taken in the movie, It proved a good story and entertaining. Wolverine Origins was a great movie, but my expectations were a little higher than proved necessary. GAMBIT, whom the trailer showed almost all of his scenes, was in the movie for about 45 minutes, if that. The only fighting Gambit did was with Wolverine, instead of aiding him in his fight against the baddies. Would have liked to see Gambit more. Also, Tyler K. (Gambit) dropped the Cajun accent too many times (especially during the plane ride.) And what was the butchering of Deadpool?
A great movie, great to have a new X-Men film (or should I say Wolverine movie.) I really enjoyed how they incorportated CYCLOPS. That was awesome.
As a huge X-Men fan, I would definitely recommend the flick. However, don't get your hopes *too* high.

I loved everything about Wolverine. The best part of the movie is that it stuck to the story of the comics. Also, as Gambit is my very favorite of the X-Men, I was upset that he had not appeared in any of the previous X-Men films, but this movie delivered the role of Gambit in a very pleasing way. (He could have had more screen time.) Oooopppss did I say that. But overall I loved the movie
