It isn't the greatest movie ever but it was very good. It was full of action and there was never a dull moment. I'd recommend it as one to go see in the theater.

Overall i felt this was a good first effort for a Wolverine solo movie. It was entertaining at times but the previews they show on tv are the best parts of this movie. You got a small glimpse into some of the other mutants.
This was a good movie but definitely not great.
It was ok to watch once but it would definitely not be a movies id watch multiple times.

Hugh Jackman is fantastic. Wolverine takes his shirt off a lot and there is a lot to see. Great new characters. Can see several sequels coming out of this one.
Gotta stay thru all the credits --- one last scene.

I was very excited for this movie and was not disappointed. Although a few elements seemed a bit off(deaths of certain characters came very fast and unceremoniously, comic book mythology was altered a bit, etc), I really really enjoyed this movie.
Hugh Jackman, as always, was great. Liev Schreiber was also incredible as Victor Creed. The supporting cast was, for the most part, great but underused. I would have liked to see more of Ryan Reynolds, Taylor Kitsch, and Will i Am but sadly, it wasn't meant to be.
This movie is very entertaining and very much a popcorn movie but not vapid in the least. Go see it!

As a girl who enjoys comic books (but is not a fanatic) I really enjoyed this movie, but then any woman would enjoy seeing Hugh Jackman naked and Ryan Reynolds topless. The action was just right and the storyline made sense. With a tight budget this was a movie worth seeing in theaters.

It was an amazing movie and I really enjoyed it. A few things didn't fit though. The way he loses his memory doesn't fit the original story line. Logan never lost all of his memory. He said it got fuzzy right after World War II. Also, in the first X-men movie Scott didn't recognize Wolverine. Someone would have told him who had saved him and what his powers were. Just a couple of things I noticed. But overall still a fantastic movie.

If you can get by the fact that the story operates within the constraints of the comic, this is a great film. I think for true fans, the best part of this film is the fact that Wolverine finally realizes his true potential as an animal and dominates later in the film. Throw in a few classic lines ('I'm the best there is at what I do') and some new and awaited characters (Gambit) and the film delivers for fans and those casual watchers who don't take their comic boom films too seriously.

i am a huge fan of wolverine. sure they didnt keep to the comic but its a movie!! they do that. the action was great wolverine was bad booty. Definitely should go see. sabor tooth rocked and for those of you who couldnt tell what saber tooth's power was were u asleep?. See it again. And those of you who are trying to figure out if scott summers remembers wolverine. Scott summers did not SEE wolverine because he had a blind fold on the whole time so there fore he will not remember him because u cant remember someone u cant see. Like i said good movie go see it

I found this movie quite enjoyable. Not being a comic book reader, I did not go into the movie with any preconceived notions or expectations for the film. The plot, acting and action were at such a pace to keep the viewer interested and engaged throughout the movie. Additionally, Hugh Jackman and Liev Schreiber played well off of one another. For the non-teenager, non-comic book aficionado this was worth seeing.

As a fan of X-Men movies in general, I did not find this a great movie. Just as expected, with the movies of the franchise getting worse with time, it had flaws. But it was not as bad as the last X-Men movie. The overall plot was entertaining (I really liked the opening montage showing Wolverine and Sabertooth through the ages), but there were slow bits and a few very cheesy scenes. I really would have liked to see more of the other characters, especially Deadpool/Wade. With more thought and depth devoted to all characters, this movie could have been great! I would even be able to overlook the cheesy CG of the adamant. claws and Prof. X's face.

This movie was a big disappointment. The opening scenes were probably the best and most interesting part of the movie. After that it was all down hill. The character development was so bad that i didn't care about any of the characters. Wolverine is such a popular marvel character with comic book fans and the movie did not do justice to the wolverine franchise.

If there were only plot holes, I could accept it.
If there was only bad dialogue, I could accept it.
If there was only low-budget looking FX, I could accept it.
No, the worst thing about the movie was this: It was boring.
I was looking at my watch by the end of the first hour. SO much talking and attempts at showing emotion, etc. The motivations they cart out for Logan seem absurd and you'll be even more angrywhen then throw a "shocking twist" at you towards the end which makes even less sense and shreds up what little credibility the film has.
I have no issues suspending disbelief for movies. But since X-Men 1, the bar has been raised. Fans shouldn't have to settle for this shoddy work anymore.

I found myself tensing up during the motorcycle ride, battle on top of a nuclear power tower, how cool is that?

I've read all the Wolverine origin comics, weapon x, exc.. Although they cut out important parts and moved some things around and added new ideas, I thought they did a great job getting it to fit in one movie.

I thought this movie was great. If you are a Wolverine fan, which I am, you can really see why Wolverine is so badass. There couldn't have been a better actor than Hugh Jackman to portray him.
Liev Schreiber was also a great casting to play the part of Sabertooth. I hope to see more of him in the next X movies.

Great movie. Finally found out why Wolverine is the way he is in the other movies. Liev Schreiber is great -- a wonderful bad guy, and Hugh Jackman is always superb. Would recommend it to anyone that's a fan of the other X-Men movies.

It was a good movie, a worthy effort. I am not sure how true to the comic books it was, but it gave a background to the animosity between Wolverine and Sabertooth. Additionally, it explains Logan's amnesia. Something I never quite understood.

While I felt that Marvel could have expanded a bit more, the movie was solid for a history of Wolverine. I can't compare to the comics however.
Overall, good action, solid production decisions, and good acting made the movie enjoyable. Would see again!

It wasn't the best action movie I've ever seen, but it also wasn't the worst. The story/plot was weaker than I expected as was the character development, but hey, this was an "X-Men" movie - how much character development do you want? The action was great, and Hugh Jackman superb, once again, as the tormented Wolverine. From start to finish the movie was fun, and I'd pay another $10 to see if again.

I really liked this movie. I thought that it tied well to the x-men movies, and was pretty consistent there. The story line was good, the characters well played. I definitely recommend seeing this to anyone that liked the other x-men movies.

I'll admit that I went in with low expectations, based on (1) prequels/sequels are rarely as good as the original and (2) the last X-Men movie, which I found boring.
This had action, explanations, hot looking guys <g>. The story is weak in places but, for me, that was offset by nekkid Hugh Jackman .
Overall, I'm glad I saw it and would recommend it to a friend.

Romance, drama, action packed adventure movie. Gives you the history of Wolverine and there is never a dull moment. Enjoyed learning the history of characters - even Striker! I would pay to see this movie again and can't wait to buy it on video!

Loved it! Not quite the same response as I had to Iron Man which was just AWESOME, but I would see this movie again in a hearbeat. In general, I'm not a Hugh Jackman or Liev Schrieber fan, but these guys are perfect for their roles! Not a bit disappointed.

First let me say I am not at all into comic books but this movie was awesome and had some funny parts as well. I liked x-men and it was nice to see how the wolverine came about. I think the fight scenes were great as well as the acting.

OOOPPPS!!!!!! Look for this:
When Wolverine's blades come out through the boxing gloves you can see that the holes are sewn up around the blades instead of being torn through the material.
