My three grandsons wanted to see this movie since the advertisements for it came out on television. Finally, yesterday, they went to see it.
I had read the reviews of it in two newspapers and they were not favorable, but my boys went anyway.
When they returned, they said that the reviews were wrong and this movie is awesome.

Wolverine had all the action that I was looking forward to seeing, and I felt involved, the whole way through. The special effects were great, and didn't distract one from the story, just how comic-books are supposed to be. I left the theater, wanting to see the next chapter in the series. Enjoy!

I love this movie. I am an xmen fan for many years and I gotta say they did good with this story. It wasn't %100 accurate to the comics but was perfectly set for the movie version. Great job. There were some things that they could've done with the characters but I understand the difficulty of trying to please die hard fans. You can't do it all. I like what they did so far. As long as they keep the stories tight, everything will be all right. EXCELSIOR!!!!

This movie was amazing. It was everything I expected and more. Kudos also go out to Liev Schreiber for his portrayal of Sabretooth.
I <3 this movie!
However, I think it's suitable for older kids, and not the younger ones. A little too graphic for the wee ones in my opinion.

If you're looking for an entertainging action movie with a compelling story and top notch special effects, then X-Men Origins: Wolverine will deliver that on all fronts.
From the very beginning of the film we are introduced to Logan (Wolverine), and events that began to shape his life before he became the iconic Superhero that he is once he teamed up with the X-Men.
Not once does this flim fall into a lull, and every minute of the ride will you be experiencing emotion.
There's a lot to see in this movie and when you leave the theatre you will come out feeling well entertained and wanting to watch more X-Men.

Great show! Acting and action wonderful. The guys worked out to fit the roles. I hope they do more of these kinds of movies.
Gambit should have an accent but other than that no complaints.

If you want to see Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, go ahead. You won't be disappointed. Time like this, I mean the economy is in recession and the danger of some swine-flu, etc, you need some action-package like this one. However, the story-line is poorly developed throughtout the movie.

This movie was very good, good acting, good story and plot - the only problem was with the animation. I haven't seen animation mixed with reality that horrible since "Who Framed Roger Rabit?". But ignoring that, the movie was excellent. It set up the future/past X-Men movies nicely, answered a lot of questions.

I enjoyed this movie. Action, special effects, some laughs, this movie answered origin questions that were raised by the later movies and tied in to the other three very well.
In some ways it was not quite as good as the others but still great entertainment, believable story line and great acting.

pretty good movie. plot lines up pretty good with the first x-men movies. not short on action at all. don't know that i would take my kids to see it yet, but they are still pretty young. i would think it should be fine for 13 or up. would recommend to my friends to go see it.

I found X-Men Origins: Wolverine to be highly entertaining and well worth the price of admission. Awesome cast and a great story regardless of whether or not you are an X-Men fan or not.
Hugh Jackman does an awesome job - as do most of the actors. Gambit was just so so for me but he's normally a television show actor so maybe it was just the transition to the big screen that threw him off.

I had been looking forward to this movie since I saw the first trailers last year. Hugh Jackman does a great job reprising his role as Logan/ Wolverine and Liev Schreiber is cool as Victor/Sabertooth. While there are lots of action sequences, I still think that some fans may be disappointed by the underuse of some characters. I will be honest and say that I think there are some plot holes in the film that keep it from being absolutely perfect. The CGI is not as seamless looking as some might think, but "X-Men Origins:Wolverine" still stands up to most viewers who view it as fantasy. Hint: Stay through the credits.

I'll admit, I am more a fan of romantic comedies and dramas than action pictures; however, this had a compelling story that kept me interested the entire time. The action made sense in the context of the story, and didn't consist of long sequences that generally become boring. I was entertained, and am looking forward to seeing the other X-men pictures. My husband LOVED the movie, and we've told everyone we know to go see it.

The movie was 4 out of 5 stars, with the fight scene between Gambit and Wolverine knocking off the 5th star. I admit to never wanting to know anything about DeadPool, and this was helpful, as I was not dissappointed in the slightest. Great fun for the whole family, with a slight bit of violence I would sway small ones from-any smart parent must understand Wolverine does not tickle his opponents to submission with his claws..and DeadPool is named justly..so, to all those parents out there think about the violent factor before you have to explain why young Johnny cannot add forks to his hands and tackle his brother..or aptly named cat Sabretooth. Great start for the summer never the less.
