this movie starts out in 6th gear and doesn't slow down. the story line is good enough to give the action and effects a home and that's all it needs. great look and sound. the only thing that made me come back to reality was the hip-hop, getto attitude and voices of a couple of the new transformers - not cool.

This movie was awesome! There was a lot of action and there were so many funny parts!! I would recommend this movie to everybody:) My favorite transformer is bumblebee!! I also liked the twins they were funny:) I am totally going to get this movie on dvd when it comes out! I can watch this a hundred times!! It is 2 and of half hours long but it was worth it!!

Was well worth the wait! Absolutely loved the movie. Lots of great action and had a good story line when they gave the history. The only problem I had, was the amount of language. They didn't need it. Will have to see it again to catch what I missed the 1st time around while laughing!!!

I loved this movie and I am a 47 yr old mom! I have always loved the 'different'. Shows like Lexx and Babylon5, so I have been a fan of the whole Transformers franchise since my boys started watching the older cartoons when they were young. Great Action, and exceptional computer art! I loved this movie for what it is a WILD ROMP in a sci-fi Fantasy world. Give me more! ALso, if you understand the older cartoons, you will see that the whole Transformer storyline is about the underlying issues of character and what makes you good VS evil, and the choices that you make to support your character.

i ordered my tickets online so i didn't have to stand in the ticket line because i picked them up a few days before when we went to see another movie. anyways, the movie was AWESOME. i had high hopes for this one and i was NOT disappointed. usually the trailers show the best parts of the movie and then you are disappointed when those are the only good parts of the entire movie... NOT the case with this one. the fight scenes were great, the dialogue was a tad cheesy at some points but somehow it worked. my fiance was a bit unnerved by starscream and another decepticon (can't remember which tho) but he thoroughly enjoyed it as well!! will def go see it in IMAX next time!!!

As one would expect from summer fare, this was a visually impressive and action-packed film that is, as with the first movie, a dual love story of a boy and a girl and a boy and his car and the outcomes of these stories is never in doubt. Thankfully, the shmaltz and groan inducing moments inherent in this is thankfully tempered by the engaging presence of Shia LeBeouf. Relatively speaking, characterization of the Autobots and the soldiers from the first film was sacrificed to introduce new characters and a more complex, if nebulous, plot that, from a certain perspective, undermines what was established in the first film.

If you only see one movie this summer, make it this one. There are discrepancies, but not enough to stop anyone from enjoying the film. They did a great job of adding Autobots and Decepticons to the storyline, as well as furthering the relationships between characters. I especially love that they used the same voice talents for Soundwave as in the original animation. All in all, a great ride and I will be seeing it again and again. GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!

I loved it!!! It is definitely not near as good as the first, but I would absolutely watch it again, and again. It had a great storyline, however I thought there were too many new charectors to keep up with. Overall, I loved it!!!!!

Im a big Transformers fan and Paramount / Dreamworks did a great job in making this movie....they combined jokes that relate to young and adult audiences. They also had a lot of action that kept you glue to the seat. Every so often their were small CORNY parts...but it followed up with some type of action or a joke.

I enjoyed the new Transformers movie EVEN THOUGH there was absolutely no character development, and plot holes big enough to drive an Optimus Prime through.
It wasn't as good as the original, and the story is literally all over the map. The graphics are amazing, but the story leaves much to be desired.
As an "event film" you really have to see it in the theater to get the full effect of all the graphics and explosions. This movie is a standard hollywood event film with tons of volume and explosions.
If you like big hollywood films you'll like this movie. If you like movies with plot and character development, and meaning - you'll hate this movie - because there's really no substance to it.

It was 2 1/2 hours of wow! i think it was better then the first one. I took my 10yr old son and 6yr old daughter. they really enjoyed it. My daughter was soo slepping. i told her she could go to sleep on my lap, but she told me ,I might miss bumblebee!! I really can't wait until the dvd comes out, we just might have to go watch it again.

I was looking for a mindless action movie with great special effects and awesome robot fighting scenes. I got just that. I cant give it 5 stars either for the same reason though, all visuals and no substance. Also, it was way to drawn out, it should have been kept under 120 minutes. But all in all, cool effects, fun movie, i recommend it.

Sequels are usually not the best, but I would not say so in this case. There were a lot more wittier lines to make you laugh. The fight scenes were much clearer. I would watch this movie again and again. This is a must see movie! Don't miss it!!

I really enjoyed the first installment of Transformers. Like with all sequels, I tend to be skeptical and get a littel wary. That was not the case here. It grabbed and kept my attention from the very beginning. It had a little be of everything. I laughed a lot and there we parts that I didn't see coming. I can go on and on about this movie. In a nutshell, my advice is to go see it for yourself.

I couldn't tell which direction this one was going. The first one had some serious overtones but with every other decepticon and autobot cracking jokes and sounding less ominous as in the original, there wasn't a feeling that what was going on mattered. The Twins had the effect that Jar Jar Binks had in Phantom Menace. They took away from the intensity of any story line there wasn't and constantly reminded you they needed to fill the movie with a sideshow. Sideswipe is an amazing looking car and has two lines and a total of 2 minutes of screen time. What a waste. I saw the original several times in the theater but there's no reason for me to go back to see this one.

The first transformers was my favorite movie ever, and i had been waiting for this to come out for 2 years!! I LOVED IT!!!! You have to go see it if you havent! Absolute best sequel there is to a movie!!! The graphics were awesome and the acting was awesome of course! 2 hours and 30 min might seem long...but it is totally worth it!! =)

Do not take anyone under 17 to this movie and stay away from it yourself if you do not like to be hijacked by impurity. I cannot believe that a Hasboro toy has been turned into an opportunity to exploit women, and make men look like nothing more than animals that just have to give into their impulses.
Special effects were outstanding and there are some redeeming messages about family and sacrifice, but one should not have to have uncleaness thrown in their eyes before viewing the good things.

Any one under the age of 20 will definitely like it. A lot of action. Although it seemed like a really long movie. Its 2:30 hours long, and frankly speaking, i was bored at the end because its the same thing over and over again. Robots fighting, Megan fox running with her boyfriend, and so on. If you really want to enjoy it, go to an IMAX theatre.
