Not as good as the first one, but it didn't disappoint. Some things could have been better, like introducing the new characters better because it gets confusing when all the robots are fighting. My friends and I ALL HATED THE TWINS because they were so annoying and not even funny. And how did the old Decepticon teleport Sam and his friends to Egypt? None of my friends caught that either.

Yeah, it's true. NOT FOR YOUNG KIDS !!! But awesome for me ! BIG budget makes for fantastic effects. Micheal Bay obviously spared NO expense with this one. Well played sir ! I really enjoyed this movie. No more or less corny than the first. I don't want to hear any more people whining about the twins ! Story was pretty good. I thought it was cool to go back to Cybertron. New characters were great. Soundtrack was good. No complaints at all. Wish I could shake Micheal Bay's hand for this one. I couldn't think of a better director. BIG "props" to the CG team too. First showing Tuesday night/Wednesday morning was awesome. Going again to see it in IMAX tonight (Thursday June25th) ! Can't wait. BIG thumbs up !!! Looking for ward to # 3 !!!

Our local newspaper gave this movie a bad review. I almost didn't want to see it, but I went anyway. What an amazing movie! I'm happy to say whoever reveiwed the movie didn't see the same movie as I did. It was fantastic and I simply loved it! The effects were phenomenal and over the top! Definitely worth seeing twice. You're so bombarded with the Transformers morphing, you're blown away. The characters were right out there too!

I loved the movie. My son loves the Transformers, and he really enjoyed the movie too. The action was non stop and the special effects were great. I read the movie reviews prior to going to the theaters, and I can't believe that the movie received such awful ratings. I can totally see why kids love this movie and the characters. There are only two things I would have liked to have been better, one is the movie was a little too long, and two, it would have been nice to see Bumblebee one more time on the closing scene.

My wife loved it because it was 'funny', but said that Fox was 'too pretty'. That sums up the film for me, too.
It looked great, especially the CGI, but everyone in the film- humans included- were too pretty-too fake. It looked great and had plenty of shallow jokes to laugh at, but it was all dead behind the eyes. Bay couldn't hit an emotion with a bazooka.
Okay, it's a cartoon, but a 2 1/2 hour cartoon. It wasn't too loud, but it was loud for too long, with no real counter-acting emotion the whole time.

I loved this movie - even my 72 year old mother loved it and stated she wanted to see it again and she usually sleeps in movies!!!
True Action movie - all the way through! Enjoyed the plot as well!
For a sequel it is definitely on the top of my list!

This movie was shockingly awesome--even to someone who had counted down the days to the release for over a year.
The characters are either wonderfully lovable or the type you absolutely have no problem hating. The interaction between humans and robots was, in large part, priceless with both old favorites and new. The action was superb and the humor spot on--there have been more actual comedies than not that I've seen get less laughs in a packed theatre.
The movie starts off with a bang and keeps going--taking you through a gamut of emotions. It is 100% pure fun. I know I'll be counting down the days until the release of the third movie in 2012.

My 7 year old Son and I were at the edge of our seat thru the entire movie!!! I must admit, I didnt think it was possible to get any better than than Part 1, but I was SOOO Wrong...I think this movie hit just about every emotion I could possibly have...LOL-The sound effects, and Visual effects were GREATNESS!!!i will definately own this movie!!!

I saw this movie last night and thought it was great. The non-stop action kept me entertained so the movie didn't seem too long. The only negative for me was the abundance of bad language and only becuase I have a 7 year old with me. He didn't seem to notice the language. I did have to think quickly to explain why Sam's mother was acting to so weird (after eating "special" brownies.

Took my family of 7 to watch Transformers. It was my daughters 5th birthday and she had been asking to watch this moving since she knew is was coming out on her birthday. Lots of action brought me back once again to my childhood days coming home from school to watch the cartoons. Will not disappoint. AUTOBOTS ROLL OUT!!

Being an old school Transformers fan and a lover of the first movie, I had a lot of hopes when seeing this new release. Boy were they all met.
There were a few things that didn't follow traditional Transformer's lore, but that is okay. Michael Bay made the movie work.
The special effects were amazing and glorious eye candy. Some of the action scenes actually had the crowed cringing and almost feeling each and every blow. Not to mention a whole bunch more robots to watch.
It had a great soundtrack and was really funny. Yet, the only downside to the movie came from some of the more mature audience jokes. Definitely a movie for children over 13, but a really good movie for them.

Let's face it, its a movie about giant robots smashing each other. As long as you accept that from the git go, you'll enjoy the film.
In between explosions and running , and sometime during, there's plenty of humor, although parents should know the humor is a bit risque at times.

Well, i must say that even after the first one was a bit worried the 2nd one was going to bomb, HARD. The 1st one was awesome. It was going to be hard to stay near or over come it. The movie was better then i could have ever hoped for. I went with my family which was 3 boys (8,9,and 13) and my fiancee. ALL of us wanted to sit back down and watch it again. Im a die-hard G1 fan, and grew up on Transformers. I will forever be linked to TF.

Took my 13 yr old daughter and I said wow this was a really good movie and she said no dad this was the best movie of all time. I was able to show her a good moral message in this movie. Parents can actually use this movie to help their children learn about doing the right thing in life no matter the cost.

I thought the movie was good, but not as good as the first.
Some inconsistancys and some thechnical flaws, but a good none the less.
For those that complain that it is too loud. What are you expecting? It's a movie in a theatre, it's going to be loud.
Also for those that think it is not for children, guess what it is not. Read the rating before you go to a movie! After all it say right here.

Very good follow up. Surprised with back to back Bay winners. Not nearly enough 'transforming' but it was made up by the fight scenes. As for the family movie...took my 4 year old to it and inuendo is what it means...the kid didn't get those jokes!!! He did get the jokes that were directed at kids though. A bit more cussing than I was expecting after the first but still a great movie!!! Lots of twists and turns and plenty of emotion throughout. Just like the first, takes a couple of shots at current administration which was nice (no kissing up). Best sequel in a while. Will see again and buy when released.

What a rush. I have never walked out of a movie feeling the way I did yesterday. One other reviewer said they were tired of people talking about the cussing. Well the fact is there was cussing. I don't believe PG-13 was the appropriate rating. A little cussing is ok in PG-13, but not this amount. That said, I still gave it 5 stars, because it was the best movie I have seen. I am a 40 year old male that love Sci-Fi, and this was the best Sci-Fi for me. I took my 13 yr old son, and my 12 yr old daughter. Both loved the movie, but agreed that there was alot more bad language than they have heard in other movies with the same rating. But, AWESOME!!

It was good, but it was pretty much what I expected. Lots of really fast action (way too fast) and lots of slow motion Megan Fox. The main thing is that the movie was way too long. They could have cut at least 30 mins out of it easily. But all in all, it was a good guilty pleasure action flick and I enjoyed it.
