Took my son to the midnight showing.....had a blast! Humor was more adult; luckily, my kid knows better. Wouldn't take anyone under the age of 10 to see it.
Comic relief came in the intense form of two abbott-n-costello autobots.

It was a typical Michael Bay film, a lot of action and no story.
In the end It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, It had a few funny moments, but a weak story and plot really killed this movie.
On the bright side, Megan Fox has beautiful eyes.

I too loved this movie but would not recommend taking children to see this. There was a lot more swearing in this movie and many adult themed jokes. Even though it was a long movie it kept your interests and the action was on going.

this is one hella nice movie and when i found out it was 2hours and 30 minutes long? are u kidding me? two hours and 30 minutes of micheal bayness robots megan foxness? when i saw the movie it was excellent alot of action but i can say the final fight between prime and the other robot, it was pretty brief but then again i dont think that was the final fight i think the final fight was the whole entire battle but still it was the best movie and after it was so hyped up

The movie was outstanding in most respects. I could have done without the "twins" and felt that they did not add anything to the movie other than comic relief. I also felt they were a stereo-type of inner city youth.
I did find it difficult to follow some of the action scenes as the close-up shots of the robots made it difficult to figure out exactly what you were seeing. I will deffinately recommend this movie to all friends and family.

It seems that usually sequels don't quite live up to the original, but this is definitely an exception. Overall, it is fast-paced with incredible fight sequences, several moments when you will laugh out loud, and a few times where you might tear up, too. My only criticism is that I found myself periodically thinking that the plot isn't very original. Definitely not for children, but teens and adults who like action movies will really enjoy this one. I'm looking forward to #3!!

I saw this movie at 9:45AM for $5 a person, so just about anything would have been worth the money.
On the other hand, it has some really good actions scenes and the animation is much better. The new Transformers are very interesting, but we don't really learn anything about them. There is very little "real" plot and no additional character development. It is NOT a good film for children under 13, there are a couple useless characters that seem to only exist as a running gag but they use a lot of foul language.
This is an obvious attempt to keep the marketing going, but there have been MUCH worst films made.

This was an amazing movie. It lived up to all of my high expectations. The CGI and fight scenes lived up to Michael Bay's reputation. Just like the first movie, the dialogue left a little to be desired. I agree with some of the other reviews in the regard that the humor was overdone. The twins were unneccessary and Simmons was again too excentric. I do have to say because of the action I completely overlooked these minor negatives.
Not a movie for kids despite the first movie. Revenge of the Fallen had more adult language and was a little darker than the first one.
Overall, if you enjoyed the first Transformers you will love Revenge of the Fallen.

The title says it all. This movie (to me) easily beats out the original Transformers. I was on the edge of my seat for a majority of this film. A feat not so easily achieved!!! Thumbs up MIchael Bay!!!

I honestly couldn't wait for a second Transformers as soon as i walked out of the first. But I honestly walked into the theater today expecting it to be like every other sequel - yet I walked out amazed that Michael Bay did it again. I would totally, 100% recommend this movie to all of my friends, in fact, as soon as it was over i texted the ones who had not seen it and was like YOU HAVE GOT TO GO SEE THIS MOVIE! The only part i didn't like was that there was a little more cursing in this one than in the first. But other than that, i was sitting at the edge of my seat throughout the entire movie. (I'm actually planning on seeing it in IMAX at least once, and again in theater one or two more times... that's how good it is)

AMAZING! Kudos to Michael Bay: he has outdone himself. It was action-packed from the word Go, it was humorous with a few nice moments too. I smiled the whole time and didn't want it to end. The whole theatre applauded! BEST of summer 2009 so far, BY FAR!

Michael Bay did awesome directing this film! Impressive imagination on his part.
The story itself was very good! I dont want to comment anymore on this because I'm afraid I'll spoil the movie, lol!
Screenplay was weakest part of the film. Could have been much less cheesy dialogue with unnecessary jokes, especially from the Twins. There was, however, more interactions from the robots themselves which was great to see.
For the most part, acting was on point. I'm a fan of Shia. He did not disappoint once again. Lots of haters of him out there, but part of his acting is what made this movie more interesting. Rest of supporting cast were very good.
Overall, movie is very enjoyable! I'd recommend watching this film in the theater.
