Lot's of action, lots of predictability, lots of Megan Fox botox and rather improved computer generated characters. Not much plot. But if you like to see things blow up, and have no sense whatsoever of how big a blast would be in real life, then you might have fun.

I've never seen the first Transformers movie, but I will now! I could follow the plot without having seen the first movie. This movie rocks! For all the ladies out there who don't dig chick flicks, you will enjoy the action in this movie, even though the females didn't have strong roles. The only serious problem for me was revolving camera shots...they make me dizzy.
All around an enjoyable movie to watch. Worth full price admission.

I loved the first transformer movie and could not anticipate to see this second one enough. The movie was great. But I took four kids under 17 and I would not recommend taking children under 13. They used alot of swearing, unappropiate, and too much adult language. Even I, an adult, was offended.

This movie had unbelievable effects and when you looked at the screen, everything looked real. But the story line and plot of the movie were very hard to follow and slightly confusing. The swearing was a little too much.
From a 45 yr old mother:
For effects, I rate the movie a solid 10. However, it was slightly challenging to get around the length (2.5 hrs), the violence, the profanity, the sexism, and racial stereotypes.

Lots of humor, (adult humor). Megan Fox was 2x as smokin as the first one. Her eyes, her lips... mmmmmmmmmm
anyways, decent action... probably a bit better than the first since it had longer fight/battle scenes.
Decent overall story, but nothing spectacular as I was hoping for something more.
cinematography not as good as the first IMO. Just didn't entice the audience visually through camera shots.
I hope they leave the movie gone as I know it'll be next to impossible to bring all the cast back for another sequal... but if megan fox is in it... I'm GAME!

When I was at the theater I was next to 5 kids and all they did was talk through the entire movie... Luckily I was hook from the moment the movie started you tune everything out... U got to pay attention cause you will miss amazing stuff... Wow what a great time. hands down great.

Honestly, the best movie I have seen in a long time. I NEVER see movies more than once in the theaters, but after the midnight opening I knew I had to see it again!! You won't be disappointed! Amazing graphics and special effects, thrilling edge-of-your-seat action sequences, and just the right amount of humor and one-liners. In a word: AMAZING!!

The movie was Fantastic! But There is something going around that Skids and Mudflap Characters were considered being Racist. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA America at its worst. This was the worst movie I have seen in a long time. It gets off of technological wanna-be, immature drive for revenge, shallow patriotism and vicarious violence where you see the bad guys destroyed and you never really suffer and ends up with the pseudo romantic promise of the boy gets the girl. Since I loved the first Transformers movie, I was stoked when I got tickets for opening night for this one. I wouldn't say that this film is BETTER THAN the first one, but it’s definitely AS GOOD AS the first one was. As in the first flick, the special effects are phenomenal; the story is very entertaining; and the soundtrack is KILLER! The only area that’s lacking is the acting - especially on the part of Megan Fox. As hot as she is, she is a lousy actress! (However, John Turturro is esp. good in this film - even better than he was in the first one.) I was also happy to see that Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson have more screen time in this movie, as they both have a strong presence on-screen, and I think they add a lot to the film.
