I thought this movie turned out better than what the critics said. Lots of action, and there actually was a plot! It was made for Transformer fans, and to recruit new ones. Definitely recommend seeing it!

The new Transformers movie has tons of action and great graphics but the story line is very weak.
In addition, there is too much unnecessary cursing, especially for kids, and the parents in the movie are completely useless to the plot. Their lines aren't funny and that sub-plot just distracts from the rest of the film.
In my opinion, the 1st Transformers movie was much, much better.

By far Bay's worst movie. It's supposed to be a movie about transforming robots and instead is a nothing but an excuse to show Megean Fox's behind (albeit a good one) for 2.5 hours. At no point does anything make sense! This movie has a terrible plot or lack there of, Ridiculous dialog, characters that you can't wait to see stomped into flesh pizzas, and some of the worst cinematography to date. Everytime something cool is happening, they cut away to show you what is supposed to pass for terror on the faces of the performers, or while robots are attacking and missles are firing and machine guns plug holes into flowerpots and lighting fixtures, it seemed like a good idea to cut to two dogs humping eachother. My god, what have we become?

My family and I were really looking forward to transformers 2... so much so that we paid for it $50 when we could've waited to see it for free 2 wks later and that's what we should've done. It was 3 hours of mindless dialogue.
Parents-This movie should be rated 17 and if you're a responsible parent and you value your children between the ages of 5-13 years old they will hear tons of profanity and and raunchiness adult content. The acting and plot goes down hill after 40 minutes. Everyone if you have to see it take you time and don't pay full price.

Absolutely loved the movie, especially Autobots Mudflap and Skids... loved the way the two little bots had funny personalities, also played key roles in several very important parts...I'll probably see it a few more times!

I would say that it has some fluff that could be cut out and the action is just a bit much. But for the most part, since I went before noon, I got my money's worth. The concession stand was a bit of a surprise, they actually got my order in a prompt fashion and the costs were not any worse than any place else.

It was a very good actions movie.. i saw this movie today and i mean it when i say, ''not stop action and explosions''.
it is a-well i think-a #1 movie of the year.
out of 10 star ratings, i give a 50 because of it's special effects, very cool cars like the audi R8, and how the movie was set. This IS a movie i would recommend to a friend and it is a thrill ride!

I absolutely loved this movie! They kept in line with the first one with characters and storyline. The action sequences were outstanding and i loved all of the new characters! I would definitely tell anyone who loved the first one to go see it and anyone who didn't see the first one to watch the first one then go see this!

While there were a few moments in the movie that I felt could have been left out (like the twins), I realize that this movie tried very hard to please all audiences and age groups. With that in mind, they succeeded very well. I thought the story was amazing and growing up on the cartoons, toys, and comics it was nice to see more of the Transformers lore that I am familiar with included in the movie while giving some of my favorite characters a modern update that better suited their original roles in the storylines. If you liked the first movie, then you will love the sequel. Yes, it is longer, but the story demanded it, and you never notice the time.

I went to see this movie the first day it came out and I loved it! The movie is fully action packed and a cute comedy. I like how they introduced the new guy (Sam's) roomate and brought back the old dude for Sector 7. This movie was awesome and I recommend everybody go and see it. Anyone that doesn't like it or think that either of the two movies are POINTLESS, live a very dull and boring life................

Transfomers was a really great movie. yes i expected it to be good but no as awesome as what i saw. Sam and Macayla find themselvess fighting these Deceptegons once more and along the road are some comical scenes that make this movie all that much more INTERESTING! i reccomend everyone who liked the first one to watch "Revenge of the fallen" you will mot be dissapointed.

the only thing i did not like about the movie
was the twin robots i guess they were supposed to be african american why did they have to have gold teeth and talk ghetto it was a insult to all african americans who try not to be stereo typed by racist people around the world and this is how this movie represents are race to the world and i forgot to mention they were also illiterate i was offended and it was unnecesary in such a great film.
