The special effects were better than any I've ever seen. This movie had me sitting on the edge of my seat the entire time. 2 1/2 hours is a very long time for me to sit through a movie, but it was over in no-time. Capitvating, compelling, and I need more.

If you want to see an oscar award winning plot/movie this isn't your movie. If you want a great entertaining movie that actually references the tv show a little better than the original Transformers movie than you will love this movie. This movie has cheezy vocabulary but so did the cartoons, thats what makes this fun. I also love the people that have their "this movie had plot holes" well you know what it's about alien robots that are 50 feet tall it's not supposed to be that realistic!

This movie is better than the first, with more action and Transformers. The humor is just as good as the first. I've heard that some people have called this movie racist. It is not racist, only racist people say things like that. Anyway, its pretty much action packed from start to finish and there were several surprises. The robots have more facial movements and they spit and spew fluids. There was only one particular scene that bothered me, when Sam gets out of Bumblebee (while Mikaela stays in him) and he runs into the woods. Why? I don't want to give too much away, but it was unnecessary for Sam to get out of the car and run.

The sequel definitely lives up to the first movie. It was the perfect combination of humor, action, romance and sadness. Yes, there is some swearing and innuendo, but it isn't a Disney movie. I will definitely go to see it again on the big screen

After a very, very disappointing "Terminator" movie last month, it was nice to see a well done movie! This movie is on par with Star Trek (5 stars also) & was better than the first Transformers movie. We will definitely add this to our dvd collection when released.

I thought the movie was just as god as the first Transformers movie. I took my 2 young boys and they both loved it as much as I did. My 6 year old boy, chocked up and held back some tears when Optimus Prime was killed and He was over come with joy when He was revived..

I've read many reviews on this movie and some of the very negative ones. Well, I watched the movie yesterday and I enjoyed it. I agree that the dialogue wasn't as good as the first but the action and fights were better than the first.
The two twins were awesome comedy relief. I know some folks were offended by them but oh well. I thought they were great.

It was an entertaining movie. No story, just action packed. The fight scenes could have been done better as in parts you couldn't tell what was going on. You just saw metal. They didnt really tell you the names of the Autobot s or the Decepticons either (the new ones that is). But it was action packed.

I was looking forward to seeing Transformers 2 since the trailer came out during the super bowl. I really enjoyed the movie, but found it to be a little long, and did not have a very good plot. It was almost mesmerizing how much action and computer animation there was. If you want to see a mindless robot fighting movie, and liked the first one, then you will like this movie.

Is TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN the worst movie ever made? Probably not (though it definitely deserves to be part of the conversation). It is, however, profoundly unsatisfying, deeply stupid and painfully unfunny. It’s as if, when the script was being written, the filmmakers asked themselves, ‘What would be the most obvious, most stereotypical thing to do in this situation?’ and then proceeded to do exactly that. The film makes no sense whatsoever, has no compelling action scenes (none that I could follow for more than a couple seconds at a time, anyway), no believable characters, nothing at all at stake and overstays its welcome by at least half an hour. In other words, it's a complete and total failure on every level.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

As the title shows, Great special effects, the acting was ok, would recommend. Overall the movie had all use of modern movie magic, great effects, sound etc etc. The plot was very interesting, but I still have to say that I so desperately wanted the movie to end. Maybe the bad acting on the main characters, or the over use of little robots or something else just left me wanting for something better. After all, would I buy this movie later on? Yes, of course, I never said that I did not like it, I just did not love it like the first one.

For the critic who said that this movie would only appeal to teenage boys, you were SO WRONG. I am 50 years old and I took my mother and teenagers to see the movie. We loved it. If you are looking for a movie with in depth characters, you're at the wrong movie. Don't get me wrong, I love the characters but this is an action movie for the popcorn peps - those of us who want to enjoy a movie for the fun of it and Michael Bay has created exactly that. There was humor, sadness and great action. And some of it was a little hokey, but it was all in fun and I intend to see it again. Everyone that I know who has seen it thought it was great and intends to see it again. In fact, we can't wait until Transformers 3 comes out.

This movie is loaded with action scenes, as expected, and moves along at a good pace. For a movie that is 2.5 hours long, it never drags or even seems like you've been watching for a long time. Definitely keeps your interest the whole time. It's a nice continuation of the first movie and was very enjoyable. I thought that the ending could have been a bit better, but all in all a very good movie.
