We went to the movie with my sister and her 3 kids and saw it in IMAX 3-D. The movie was great and the kids enjoyed it all - even the big kids among us! The 3-D was very good but not sure it was necessary for this movie. All in all it was a great time and a great movie.
The movie was okay: lots of fight scenes, things blowing up, and some funny scenes/lines courtesy of Marlon Wayans. It seemed to drag through its two hours and some of the acting left much to be desired - almost corny at times. Some good scenes kept your interest but overall just an average movie.
Probably would have been easier to enjoy the two hours if the theater wasn't so hot.
This movie is loaded with action scenes, as expected, and moves along at a good pace. For a movie that is 2.5 hours long, it never drags or even seems like you've been watching for a long time. Definitely keeps your interest the whole time. It's a nice continuation of the first movie and was very enjoyable. I thought that the ending could have been a bit better, but all in all a very good movie.
The action sequences are well done and definitely keep your attention. The movie follows the storyline pretty well but sometimes leaves you asking questions about the characters and why the story is going the way it is. A good summertime movie to take your attention off of daily life.
