The dogs in this movie were amazing. There should be an animal trainer award! My 5 year old cried during a sad part, but luckily there was a predictably happy ending. Sentimental folks definitely need to bring a hanky.

For dog lovers! If you don't mind a little campy humor, this movie is fun to watch. Our 9 year old loved it, and we were pleasantly surprised and entertained by the antics of the main canine characters. As an adult, I found the movie fairly entertaining. Not too much substance. There were some cute scenes with the dogs and some humor which I appreciated, but the movie as a whole was nothing to write home about. My 5 1/2 year old seemed to like it well enough, though there were parts where he was bored and he squirmed alot.

This movie was great. All of my children enjoyed it. My 3 year old squirmed a bit, but he is three. My other children, ages 5, 9, and 10 thought it was funny. I cried at the end. It was a very sweet movie about finding a family and love.

I took my daughter and her friend (10 years old) my granddaughter (4 years old) my son (23) and daughter in law (23). We ALL loved it. Its funny and heartwarming. The dogs were amazing and the kids did a great job. But the dogs were the stars! Of course the little ones want their own Hotel for Dogs now but I loved the movie and think all families should see it together.

This movie was our choice for family time together, it was a big hit! We laughed, got angry, and cried and in the end, left feeling happy. We will definitely buy the dvd.

A good movie for kids--took my 4 and 6 year old kids to see it, and had a good experience. It's a cute story with lots of adorable dogs. It's PG for potty humor, but nothing your kids haven't heard--and lots to make 6 and 4 year olds giggle.
