Funny and heartwarming

My older children found the subtle humor to be funny. Many of these jokes went over the littler ones heads, so I would definitely recommend this for maybe ages 8/9 and over. The scenes with the giggling Minnions were funny and are what kept the younger ones amused. Good Movie

Great Adaptation of the Book

Before you go see the movie, you should definitely read the book! The book is a classic and is part of some school curricula.This will help you decide if it is appropriate for your child.
We had with us children in age from 5 to 17 and they all got something out of the story. It might be kind of scary for a much younger child.

Great Fun

I went with my 11 year old daughter and we both loved it. The jokes were funny and the prat falls were perfect for the kids. I would recommend it for older children, though, as the villian in the story could be scary for some younger kids.
