I am neither meathead nor under 15 and I loved this flick. I was leaning towards not being into it (how many times can Michael Cera play the same character?), but I laughed my butt off along with the rest of the theatre. I thought it was a great flick. So great in fact, that I offered to take another friend to see it the next week. I'd love to read the book now.

Not sure why other viewers were lukewarm. We found it a delightful and compact comedy. Terrific way to spend a weekend evening.

i agree with another poster--don't waste your time unless you're 15 years or younger. or a meathead. i noticed the meatheads in the audience highly enjoyed it. the rest of us did not.

Michael Cera was incredible in this movie! He has made himself a niche of playing the innocent, fumbling teenager who has a hard time with girls.
Funny movie in a dark way. Movie takes a very weird turn towards the end.

The actors make this movie very funny, though the dialogue is a bit "old school" and made me question why they would talk like that, "normal" people do not talk like that usually. Although, it probably added to the movie and made it funnier. Great movie to see!
