This had to be the best Shrek ever made! I hated Shrek the 3rd but this movie saved the series! Good story line made it enjoyable for adults and kids to watch mixed with classic Shrek humor you can count on from the cast. I would say get your kids and head out to see this movie as soon as you get a chance.

We enjoyed the movie more than the last cople Shreks, but it wasn't worth the extra money for 3D. I'd recommend seeing it in "normal" viewing mode. Good plot though - and I loved the gladiator gingerbread cookie.

Not bad, but not terriffic. It was completley useless in 3-D, nothing really "popped out". Some parts were really funny like with Pus and others were not. Shrek 1 is still the best though.

3-D effects were sensational, and an inspiring addition to today's movies. Yet, plastic 3-D glasses were not comfortable and much too big for a 3 year old. I would have like the whole movie to be more of a fairy tale image. All the angry faces, kicking, hitting and not so nice language were not necessary to make this movie a success. Would like to see another Shrek with a G Rating.

It is great for kids, but don't need to watch it in 3D. As an adult I was waiting for more, I loved the beginning but then it turned into a normal plain movie, no dark humor like the first one, I think there is a lack of imagination in this one. They could have done something better.

from start to finish, this movie is great. I loved it and my child who is 9 loved it as well. Each character contributes to a great story and actually has a rather adult theme - appreciate what you have when you have it. Or as my daughter says "you get what you get and you don't throw a fit"?. I have to say, Puss in Boots was hiliarious!! I would see it 10 times again. We will all miss Shrek!!

Shrek 4 was not a disappointment. It was enjoyable and funny, and even brought a little tear to my eye at the end. I would say, however, that there is no justification for the extra price of 3D on this one. It would have been perfectly enjoyable in 2D, and I can't think of any 3D effect that stood out to me as worth paying the extra for.

Took the entire family including kids 4, 8, 10, and 11. All of the kids, my wife and myself greatly enjoyed the movie. The 4 yr old did not appear to be scared by any of the scenes as described by another reviewer, although 3/4 of the way through the movie he took off the 3D glasses and never put them back on. Overall, the story line was good, the effects were cool, even making my wife jump back at one point. I would recommend this movie to old and young.

A Friend and I took our kids to this movie. The older kids (age 8) loved it, the younger ones (age 4) jumped on our laps a couple of times. There are some scary moments for the little ones. Overall very cute storyline with a great message. It was a tear jerker in some ways and I will be sad if this in fact is the last Shrek in the series. The 3D effects do not compare to Avatar....but this is a kids movie and I thought they did a nice job.

We took 8 (6yrs old) boys to this movie for our son's Birthday. They all loved it and it held their attention. We were very pleased with the movie. Great moral to the story, "Grass isn't greener on the other side!" Enjoyed the 3D effects and the kids were amazed by them.

The movie was just as good if not better than the previous ones... my eight year old daughter and I sat almost all the way to the front and the effects were great!!! I loved the story line there were several morals and good points that my daughter was able to pick up on. Of course you could tell where the storyline was going, but when your an adult I would hope that you could do that anyway since this is a KIDS movie!!!!

It was very good, if I could change one thing about it i would have to be more 3d Effects, but other thn that the plot was great my 6 year old loved it!
