I would recommend this movie to children. The adults might think it is sort of boring. I liked the first and the second Shrek better. The music was not as great as the first Shrek. The plot is predictable and has been used over and over again but the little ones will enjoy the movie.

It was okay. I thought the plot kind of lame and didn't care for the choice of music they used. There were a few really cute parts that made me laugh. My six year old grandson liked it but did not talk about it like he talked about other movies we have recently seen (Alice in Wonderland, Avatar, etc.).

This movie was very different than the last Shrek. It was so much better. The 3D aspect added a lot of depth and was well-done. I never felt any eye strain like I have at other 3D movies.
My niece loved the movie, too, and was even moved to tears a couple times! She's 6. She thought it was very funny. Also, she's prone to getting scared easily, so much that we've had to leave movies, but not this time. So it's appropriate for sensative children - always a plus!
I would see it again. :)

The movie was enjoyed by myself and my two children, ages 16 and 13. Great story, wonderful animation and effective use of the 3D technology all worked together to provide a great experience. The best review of all was the voice of a 5 to 6 yr old in the row in front of us, "that was awesome!". I couldn't have said it better myself. A must see for everyone.

Usual Shrek-level fun movie for kids under 12. 3D version was real fun. My kids actually said "Becareful what you wish for, you just might get it & you might not like it".
