Great chemistry between Tina Fey and Amy Poehler with some great lines and scenes. With a somewhat predictable story line and ending, the movie falls flat about 2/3 of the way through. Nevertheless, we laughed out loud and would definitely recommend for a lighthearted evening out.

The movie was funny for the audience I believe that was targeted. I think a younger audience will love this movie 15-25. Some of it was a bit far out for me for example Sigourney Weaver having twins.

The usual SNL witty banter with some funny bit part material from Steve Martin. The guys will have a tough time with some of it but it does have a few laughs. If it's the wife's/girlfriend's turn to pick the movie, this isn't too painful. It's only an hour and thiry-six minutes anyway. It's a small price to pay compared to say "The Notebook"!

Not nearly funny enough, considering the awesome comedic talents of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. It was totally predictable from minute one, which just made the movie feel really SLOW, considering there were no sustainable laughs. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler make a great comedic team and some of the best elements of the movie seem to the off the interactions between the two of them. Having said that, for a movie that ran a little over an hour and a half they waited far too long to bring Poehler into the action and the movie was very predictable. If you're looking for a fun picture that won't challenge any part of your mind this is a fun candidate.

Tina Fey is awesome at dry humor and playing on pop culture ("Mean Girls" is one of my top faves). It is perfect stuff for my fellow gen-exers! Amy Poehler is hilarious, just like on SNL. I don't know how she (or anyone else involved in the scene) can keep from laughing out loud. Reminds me a lot of how I used to think the same as I watched "The Carol Burnett Show" when I was a kid. The movie was funny and light. Plot was not developed as fully as I would have liked..a couple of flat characters could have been more developed to add depth; however, very funny and enjoyable overall. The one thing I was disappointed about was that there was recurring talk of the new boyfriend's 12 year old daughter, but she never made an appearance. I would have at least put her in during the early credits at the birthday party scene to bring closure to the mention of the character. Oh yeah, Steve Martin, another poker-faced comic master. I loved him! Go see it;)
