I thought it was cute, would definitely watch again...will even purchase movie when it is out. I thought that Steve Martin's character was a waste of Steve's talent. I was sorry to see him in a movie and them not really utilize his humor fully! Tina and Amy are a great combo in this movie!!!

"I saw this movie on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at 10 pm in Snellville, GA. It was recommended by a friend, so I went. I was insulted by the two racial stereotypical lines in the movie. "Oh, don't bring home one of those blacks babies, like the actors do. Oh see my new black baby". And, "you got baby momma drama! Ask any black man about baby momma drama...he'll know". As to insinuate that people of other races don't have "baby momma drama" and other races don't adopt children of other races. I didn't like the movie at all and found it very degrading of blacks (as a race) and of people who can not bare children naturally. Two (2) thumbs down!"

My wife and I both enjoyed this movie from beginning to end. The jokes were not childish or lewd, but adult and funny. As real parents we could enjoy the baby making jokes, and the office and "friends and family" interactions. The already married with kids sister was so funny with her all-knowing attitude. (I love Maura Tierney.) Also as a former Philly native (gone for 30 years) I enjoyed the local color realism and humor. Philly is a great town and this is a great movie.

This movie was nothing short of Tina Fey's best stuff. Amy and Tina show why the where a hit on SNL for so many years. It just kept getting funny through out the whole movie. I went to the movie expecting to only laugh a few times if that many. I was suprised at how often I did laugh. It was much better than I had predicted. My teenage daughter asked me to go with her and I wasn't really expecting much. I did laugh and although it had some predictable stuff, I did enjoy it. There was a nice romance thrown in as well. Steve Martin was very pompus and funny to watch. I will recommend it to others. I'd say 3 1/2 stars for sure. It was worth the laughs!

I saw this with my teen daughter who loves the chicks on SNL. I had low expectations, but was so pleasantly surprised at the non-offensive humor and good story! I'm glad I didn't see too many ads for it though, because they tend to overplay the humor. Tina plays a believable very likable working woman ready to be a mom and Amy is great as a struggling woman trying to make her life better, though she stumbles along. Greg Kinnear provided a voice to yet another life circumstance, Steve Martin weirdly good role...All came together nicely to me. We went a second time taking hubby/dad to see it and even he liked it! More smart, funny girl movies please!

I wouldn't describe this as funny, funny. It's more like warm funny. My wife and I enjoyed it, but wouldn't see it again. Going in, I thought it would be Saturday Night Live silly funny. It wasn't that way ay all. It's a good date movie. Watch out for teenagers in the theatre for this one, it was packed with them. Lot's of talking, getting up, texting, and cell phones.

I am familiar with Tina Fey's work on SNL. I was not as familiar with Amy Poehler but she is as funny, if not funnier, than Fey and the movie was more substantive and funny than I thought it would be. Go see it!!

I thought this movie was hysterical and I couldn't stop laughing. We were laughing about the movie well after we left the theatre. My husband seemed to enjoy it, but not near as much as I did. Obviously, the movie is more tailored to a woman than a man. However, I was SO ready to see the women of SNL do a comedy movie! I hope they take on more movies! I think TIna is funny and this movie turned into a dark and not so funny long film. This was more drama with bits of laughter. I think the premise is a decent enough idea, but as soon as she meets Greg K. you already see the ending coming. In the meantime you endure some really horrible moments. Fine- surrogate mommy is a hick and boyfriend is trailer trash- can you see whats happening already. In deed this movie lacks the comedy of any SNL skit (funny or not) and certainly does not give one what may be expected based on the trailers seen during commercials. My daughter and I were both quite disappointed considering what kind of talent the cast brings to the business.

I love comedies and this movie did not meet my expectations at all. It had some funny moments but was not worth the price of admission. What I liked about this movie was that I was consistently laughing the entire time. Aside from the fact that I totally related to the main character, it was really funny none-the-less! It was great seeing all the Saturday Night Live Characters again!

I absolutely loved this movie!!! I went in with low expectations and it suprised me because it was one of the best movies I have seen this year. It was so funny and kept me laughing the whole time. Definitely recommend it!!!!
