My local newspaper gave this movie TWO stars so I had fairly low expectations going into this film. I liked it so much that and I'm even wanting to see it a second time at some point. The story works and when you leave this movie you feel hopeful and encouraged--plus you've had a few laughs (something we can all use).
Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz have great chemistry and the movie is a total surprise recommendation. Go see this film.

This is not the type of movie I would go see on my own (dragged there by a female friend). I was however surprised to find it a lot less painfull than initially thought. I rated this movie with 4 stars, it was indeed entertaining, good humor with the drama at the right places. Towards the end, there were a few very predictable parts. I don't mean that as a negative, the predictability was filmed so it fit well in the script and flowed positively. I was happy with the ending (predictability included) and the overall script (in my humble non-profesional opinion) could not have been filmed any better. Great job to the performers and director. I recommend this film to all movie goers age 16 and up.

Ashton is very good looking. Cameron Diaz is Eye candy. This movie would have been better on mute, while fast forwarding. It was a okay concept, but poorly executed. The theatre was relatively full. This simply shows me that marketing really does work. However, good marketing really kills a bad product.

I LOVED this movie!! It's sooooo funny. I personally think that both Cameron Diaz & Ashton Kutcher are very comedically talented, so both are 2 of my favs for comedy. It was a bit predictable, but very entertaining, so the movie went by really fast. I DEFINITELY recommend this one.

This was one of the FUNNIEST movies I've ever seen! Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher had great chemistry and were absolutely HILARIOUS! I'm not the type to see the same movie in theaters twice, but I plan to go see this again. There was a lot of physical comedy as well as great writing. I'm no Ashton Kutcher fan and Cameron Diaz has definitely hit the wall but this is a decent movie. The laughs were spread out nicely and we weren't bogged down with too many details. The female best friend was a somewhat uneven performance. She was very cliche but had some good moments. The male best friend was slightly better. I have to say that it was worth gong to and probably Ashton Kutcher's best work since That 70's show. Which isn't a very high bar to set.

Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz together are a great comedic duo - very goofy! It was better than expected, kept me laughing the whole time. The storyline is predictible, but definately a great date movie or one you should go see with your girlfriends.

This movie has all the charm and style of a modern-day "Bringing Up Baby" or more recently "You've Got Mail". It is funny and romantic, without being crude or slapstick. It has big shades of "How to Loose a Guy" especially in the "reveal" scene, but stands up on its own. Terrific light entertainment!
