This was a good movie, but at the cost of a ticket, popcorn and drink - was worth closer to a DVD Rental. MM was better than I have seen him in a long time, the twist was good, but someone missed the inconsistencies throughout the movie.
I am so glad that I did not read the reviews that might have caused me to miss a really funny, light-hearted and romantic movie. Kristen Bell and Josh Duhamel were very cute together. The best romcom I have seen in a long time!
This was a cute movie, but totally predictable. I would have liked to have seen more depth. The Morgans had a lot of possibilities, but seemed to miss the mark when it was convoluted with trivial parts. Sorry Parker & Grant, maybe next time.
For those of us in our forties and fifties, we have learned how to appreciate certain things in life. We have also learned that we must be able to accomplish certain things in our lives in order to be successful. This movie touched on all of the things that make us successful as friends, girlfriends, mothers, daughters, women, housewives and business women. Our ability to be nurturing, forgiving, strong, loving women is what makes us whole. Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, and Samantha have done us proud! Okay, Mr. Big wasn't too bad and neither was naked guy in the shower...what was his name?
I thought it was going to be the Revenge of My Best Friend's Wedding, instead I was pleasantly surprised. I thought Patrick Dempsey did a wonderful job - the door scene had me in silent tears. Michelle is a natural girl-next-door type and her subtleties go far. Sydney Pollack was the ever - so convincing father of a man with commitment issues. The panoramic shots were breathtaking. I think sometimes movies get analyzed to a point that you lose just being able to enjoy it. So don't analyze it, just enjoy.
