We enjoyed this movie. It was a $1 summer movie special at AMC. I had not seen Imagine That before, and thought it was really cute. Love Eddie Murphy.

It was a cute movie. Perfect for children in that there wasn't vulgarity, or scenes where you wanted to cover their eyes. WIth that said, it was a bit slow for my almost 5 yr old boy. It would have been nicer if they included some of the imaginary things for littler audiences to enjoy. It was creative and cute and I enjoyed it, but it's not one that I would buy to have in the house to watch again and again.

i took my nephews with me to watch this movie and i realized its a good one because it doesnt have violence, sex or fantasy at all, i mean imagination is being lost by children in usa because of their laziness, comfy and abundance at everything so i think the movie projects something real, parents working, a child alone and insecure who at the end of the movie her hope is fulfilled by her dad who shows his love toward her. seems to be only a movie but in reality many parents only give material affect to children forgetting the love and unity as a family

I brought my son and a girl friend, both 7, to this movie. We sat down a few minutes late, and 5 minutes later a family in our row left the theater. The kids asked why and I said "maybe it wasn't the movie for them". I found out why after 45 minutes when I finally gave in to the kids repeated requests to leave. It is mildly a kids movie - while it is silly in places, it couldn't keep their attention through the incessant talking and lack of visuals for the imaginary world that they keep visiting. Eddie Murphy couldn't pull off the silly charm beyond mentioning poop 4 times. That was the only laugh these kids got. I've never cared for Murphy, but I have to say that I liked the movie the best out of the 3 of us...not enough to make them stay though - so we too left the theater. By the looks of the girl at the theater entrance and our conversation, we weren't the only 2 families leaving.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Nice, heart-warming family movie. My six year old granddaughter liked it, but got a little long and boring for my 4 year old grandson. Overall, a good movie, I liked it!

We really liked this movie cause it showed a very good imagination for the kids. Eddie Murphy was good as always and the we loved his daughter on the movie. We look forward to seeing her again.
