This is the strongest film in the Harry Potter series since Cuaron graced us with The Prisoner of Azkaban. Genuinely moving, and a vast improvement over Yeat's Half-Blood Prince, which was pretty to look at, but unfocused.
Dobby threatens to steal the show.

True fans who went to the premiere laughed and cried together. It was an awesome experience and the movie was consistent with the book for the first time since the 2nd or 3rd movie! I HIGHLY recommend this movie, book-readers or nonbook-readers. Truly amazing.

I'm writing this review as both a fan of the books and of the previous movies. Deathly Hallows definitely delivers!
This is a much more 'grown up' film than the others in the series. The main cast give their best performances yet, and it's nice to see old characters return even if it's only briefly.
The action scenes are done well and the moodiness is a nice departure from the earliest films.
The only complaint I have, I also had with Rowling's book. It does drag in the middle. I've always thought the Harry Potter films were a bit long, but in this one you notice the length more than the others.
Despite this I was never bored and the movie left me wanting more! Can't wait til July when all the pieces come together!

It started off with a bang, and sorta moved to a stand still and jetted off like nearing the top of a roller coaster and then jetted down beyond any Potter movie yet. Intense is an understatement and is quiet a thrill. Downside is that some of the beloved characters start to die off. If taking a little kid under ten, don't. It is not their kinda movie. The only drawback is having to wait till July for the second one.

This movie exceeded my expectations. I'm a HUGE Harry Potter fan and I honestly wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was because of how previous movies were. This movie stayed with the plotline of the book almost perfectly (so far) and was humorous at the exact right moments.

AMAZING. I have a huge fan of the book so like always there was some disappointments but they only dabbled in the horcrux mission they focused more on the relationships between the characters and who they are becoming and how far they would go to protect the world they hold dear to them. So in Part 2 they need to get down to business

The Movie does stay true to the book for the most part with only some slight diffrences, but the real problem with the book is that all the real exciting stuff happens in the second half, so this movie felt more like a tease than anything else. Im not bashing it, I enjoyed seeing this first half alot. The actors were good as always, the CGI was amazing, and the film stayed mostly true to the book. Cant wait for part 2.
