I freackin luv this movie. totaly perfect and well directed. Danny is at his best ever in movie/potter history. i think/KNOW i will definitly see this movie a second time. as for the other characters they were great too. they also did a perfect job on the film.

There is much to like about about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part I .... it is just a shame that the studio and production company decided to to make 2 movies instead of 1. This older, darker Harry Potter and friends (and enemies) is intriguing. I just wanted more to happen and more resolution at the end. Instead we get the tease for the real final Harry Potter movie chapter. One could feel, at times, an effort to stretch this movie out when it did not need to be. All in all a worthy effort and an admirable new volume in the Potter movie saga.

My son and I went to see the new Harry Potter, and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. Very good! It brought more of the charactor's out. It showed you about friends and decisions you make. We saw in the D-Box seats which made the experience even better!

This movie was a perfect way to lead us into the final installment of the series. It leaves you wanting more at the end, but also leaves you satisfied for the time being. The emotional levels in the movie are very strong ranging from joy to devastation. It's fascinating seeing the children grow up and become the great actors/actresses they've become. The digital effects were far superior to the first movies and they stayed quite true to the books, only leaving out a few things. This is a must see for anyone but especially Harry Potter fans. Two thumbs way way up!

This movie follows the book the best of all the movies. The comedy brought into this movie really helped lighten what would otherwise be a very dark and depressing film. It was easier to follow for those that had not read the books than Half Blood Prince. This movie shows they want to go out with a bang!!! Hope the next one is as good!!!!

I haven't read any of the books but my dad and some friends have. They said that each movie leaves out some important details but i can never tell. All i know is that i really enjoy and love all the Harry Potter movies. My whole family does. This is a great movie to see with friends, family or both! It was fun to go all together. :) It was different from all the other Harry Potter movies. It was more serious and a little slower paced but it was still an AMAZING MOVIE!<3 It explained alot of things pretty well. I do think that some things could have been explained a little better but all together everything made sense. I loved seeing all the characters again. All in all, the movie was amazing. Go see it! Can't wait for part two next summer! <3 :D

I'm a HUGE Potter fan but that won't bias my opinion. I thought it was beautifully made. I think it captured almost every essence of the book especially since they didn't cut out most of the parts of the book! It truly takes us through the emotional stages of the book. I LOVED IT!! GO WATCH IT NOW!

I thought this was good but it dragged along so they could make 2 movies. Dark emotional turmoil. That reminded me of the prisoner movie but just slower. I think part 2 will be fast pace and to the point. There were too many gaps until the end as well. Now we have to see where if is going. Almost reminded of the LOTR journey

The movie starts out a few months from where the last left off, leaving some big questions unanswered. The movie moves along well, and has some beautiful imagery. Although the storyline keeps your attention, at no point was it 'exciting' like the previous movies. I spent the last half hour thinking 'This movies feels long' instead of being lost in the movie. Was a good movie, but not great.

What a terrible surprise to take my 11 and 13 yr. old with a group of other young teens to this movie and find out that there was an inappropriate scene. It was completely unnecessary and a shock to have my kids see Hermione and Harry in a "love" scene such as this one. I wish I would have known before hand. It was a huge disappointment and should have been left out of the movie.

Overall Great Movie! A Darker side to the Series. Great performance by cast. Only thoughts that coould have improved it - tighter editing because movie storyline dragged a bit and i did not like fade to black scene transitions. That said I'D SEE IT AGIN !

This had lots of action, never a dull moment. I was entertained and captivated the entire time. I lost track of the time and the movie didn't seem as long as I thought it would with the running time it had. I would definitely recommend it to any Harry Potter fan. I think the tone changed in this one. I actually liked it, it seemed a little more adult focused. Although there were parts that where agonizingly slow. There were also some weird coincidence in the movie which didn't make sense.
Perhaps part 2 will explain them.

For the critics who said it was too long, my family didnt even notice the length. Special effects were great. It really seemed to stay with the book much better than earlier films. I really enjoyed this installment of the Harry Potter Series. I can't wait for the finale.

The darkest movie yet of the Harry Potter series. There were times where the audience jump. Also, a lot of humor was included in this movie. Out of all the Harry Potter movies, we enjoyed this one the best. It has everything; humor, suspense, intense action. We were sad to have it end, but look forward to Part 2!

This movie was probably the best one so far. I was a bit disappointed where it ended or maybe it was the fact that it ended...one or the other. This was the darkest movies of them all so far. There was more violence than expected but then again the book is the darkest book. Overall, I would HIGHLY recomend going to see the movie. It was excellent.

This movie was great! It closely followed the book. It was such a great idea to do this in two parts. It would have been great if all the movies had been in two parts. There was a lot of action and excitement. Almost every character made an appearance. McGonagal was the only one that I missed seeing. Mr. Lovegood was excellent, as well as Bill Weasley. Great special effects when all of Harry's friends drank the polyjuice potion and turned into him. Very well done. Can't wait to see it again!

was a very good movie. It explained a lot of things brought up in previous episodes. It also laid the groundwork for things to come. The special effects were great, and would be a real task to put into words, especially the sounds. Of course, there were a good number of great screen shots. I really enjoyed it!
