Old Hitchcock concept

This movie took me back to the old Hitchcock movies of romantic thrillers. In the age of shoot up, cut him, wreck as many cars as possible. This movie took the romance of 2 people that needed more than to get away. They wanted to get together. Jolie was beautiful. And Depp was the ordinary sexy every guy. Dont expect a Bond movie or a straight romance. A little of both.

Slow and dark

I thought this was good but it dragged along so they could make 2 movies. Dark emotional turmoil. That reminded me of the prisoner movie but just slower. I think part 2 will be fast pace and to the point. There were too many gaps until the end as well. Now we have to see where if is going. Almost reminded of the LOTR journey

Funny as hell

It was really a obnoxious. And crude comedy. Which to me is Funny as hell. Buddy movie and possible remake but it had funny ass points and Downy jr. Is just great. Again.

Fun and entertaining

I saw the previews and said - got to see this movie. Growing up with video games and the quirky sounds and things I knew I would enjoy it. Not a reader of the comics but was ready for any twist and turns. Story runs like this. Dead pan life of a slacker kid trying to make his indie band something other than a band of friends. But he meets the girl of his dreams(on skates). That's whe the real fun begins. The video game references and animation, music a slick coolness of it all was great. And the the fight scences were str8 out of the video games as well as good arranged martial arts movie.

M night go back to the drawing board

M. Night has very good scripts he has done and in the this case did a great summation of the well known series. But with that said, here's the good and the bad
- script done pretty good
- special effects played really well
- used ethnic characters
- great cinematography

return of the A team

fast and furious. Good story line that made the movie believable at points. casting was very well done even though liam I didn't think could pull off a lot of the fight scenes (i think it was a stand in lol) the humor was on point and amount of blow ups was just enough. except for the crazy tank sequence.

its kick ass

Yes - when I saw the comic when I went to buy an up to date version of Watchmen. I thought it was a cool concept but decent comic to read. Lost interest 2 years ago. But when I heard they were going to do a movie for it. I thought damn. Really and who would do the direction. Soooo, I went to see it.
Kick ass is a great coming to age, adolescent movie that has action, twisted humor and violence (be prepared) and overall entertaining. It seemed so simple to think about but the concept was why are people just standing by. Why can't any one be a super hero. And it goes from there.
Worth seeing, worth cheering for and a real good movie

might be worth a sequel

SO went to see this movie. Another graphic novel turned Movie. Thought it would be just another action movie but this turned out to be pretty entertaining. And Zoe was not only HOT she kicked ass (not to be confused with the movie by the same name) Not a 5 star movie but entertaining.

Very old school concept of filming

Really enjoyed the way Scorsese used a hitchcock way of filming and suspense in the movie. the acting was very good and in certain areas average (Dicaprio never steals the show or stand out totally) the story was interesting but the twist was kind of odd even though it was almost anticlimactic. Overall a very good Movie. Scorsese I believe is getting better and better

The movie was Ok, the killing was very graphic. The acting was very weak. should have been subtitled, The asian actors struggled with the english.concept could have been developed a lot better
