I was excited all year to go see this movie and now can't wait to see pt 2. I think that even if they made it into one movie and it was just super long, Harry Potter lovers would still see it and still buy it when it came out!

The movie was good. The characters and acting were very enjoyable. It was dark and scary at parts, possibly too scary for some children. Not much humor to break up the tension. It does drag at parts but I felt the book did that too. This stayed pretty true to the book. It will be hard to wait for the second installment.

My son and I read all the books and have seen the movies to this point. He absolutely LOVED the movie, he is 10! AWESOME was his one word to describe the movie. I enjoyed it as well and knew what was going to happen and was till entertained. We can't wait until Part 2 comes out.

This is where the story takes its darkest turn, so the content is quite heavy. However, a nice job with the insertion of the lighter and sometimes comical, sometimes sweet moments. Nice rythym and balance to the story telling and the characters are well perfected at this point. A very enjoyable, well-done movie that represents the body of work with integrity. Cannot wait for the final installment.

I thought they did a really good job. They didn't add anything that wasn't in the book like they did for Half-Blood Prince. There were a few things I wish they had added, but all in all it was very good. I wanted to see Dudley thank Harry, I wanted to see the memorial sign by the Potter house, but these are minor. I am ready for the last installment.

I loved the movie and thought they did a great job of carrying the first half of the book out. Plus, it's one of the few movies I've seen that can get away with being over 2 hours long without people checking their watches and wondering how much longer until it's over.

This was an incredible movie. If you have not read the book you may be disappointed. I have seen this movie 2 times and plan on seeing it again. It is fairly close to the book but Harry addicts would love every minute of the book on screen. Leaves you crazy waiting until next year, but the end will be bittersweet.

Having not seen the last 4 movies in the series I was skeptical about how this one would turn out. Turns out, I was pleasantly surprised. It was an amazing film with perfect camera work and lighting. That always bugged me about the old ones, they were to dark to enjoy. I would definitely recommend going to see this one and part 2 even if you haven't been following the Harry Potter series. It stands well on it's own.

This is the best movie of the series, IMO. The situation grows darker and even MORE interesting as Harry and his friends seek to eliminate their foe's ability to remain alive forever. Excellent. Highly Recommended.

The movie has you in it's grips from beginning to end. It's action is 100% and it follows the book better than any other of the movies. If you have read the book, you kind of know what will happen; but it still keeps you in suspense.When it comes to a close, you will join everyone in frustration that you have to wait for the next segment. You will definitely want to see this movie again and again.

This movie was one of the better ones. it didn't have much of a plot like the first few but was more of a connecting movie that leads up and continues already existing storylines like the last movie. I thought it was really good but if you havent been watching the past few movies or read the books then you will be lost. it was a long movie but it kept my attention throughout the entire duration of the movie :)

It was amazingg and very true to the book with the exception of a few minor details.
The ending it brilliant with the cliff hanger and everything about this movie had me at the edge of my seat wanting more. Defiantly recommend this to all those Harry Potter fans and even those who aren't fans, SEE THIS MOVIE!

I must hand it to the director, David Yates, for delivering the proper mood and feel for this and the last film. The actors have done a fine job performing in this installment. While I was watching the movie, I checked my watch at least twice -- very unusual for me. I felt that the first 75 minutes was far too slow. Yes, the book is similar, but there were things they could have done to move the film along. Flashbacks, memory scenes, etc. It really began to drag. The last hour began to move, and the movie climactic ending is fine, but we could have had more build up with the details and less staring at the big tent. Hopefully they will tighten up the second half.
