It was such a great idea to make this movie 3D. I knew that it would be great as soon as I heard. The first scene with all the animals was the best. Made you feel like you were a part of the ceremony. It was great to see it on the big screen again too.
I enjoyed every minute of this movie. I was a bit upset because of the elder wand thing, how Harry gets rid of it, but they didn't add an entire scene that wasn't in the book like they did for Half Blood Prince. They moved things along and changed things up in very small ways. Molly Weasley got to say her line. McGonagall was great! The scenes in Gringotts were great! I cried, I laughed, I'm going again this afternoon!
I thought they did a really good job. They didn't add anything that wasn't in the book like they did for Half-Blood Prince. There were a few things I wish they had added, but all in all it was very good. I wanted to see Dudley thank Harry, I wanted to see the memorial sign by the Potter house, but these are minor. I am ready for the last installment.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I loved this movie and so did my 15 and 9 year old daughters. I think the 3D is totally worth it. I ducked several times! And oohed and aahed a lot! I can't wait to see this movie at least 1 more time at the theater and we will be buying this when it comes out! Tim Burton did a great job. Whimsical with just enough creepy. The references to Looking Glass were great, and of course Alice too. It paid homage to the works, but had enough new parts in it to make it interesting without ruining the spirit of a classic. Johnny Depp was fabulous again(who really thought he wouldn't.) Alan Rickman was a great voice for the caterpillar too. Alice was a good strong character for my daughters when she came back from Wonderland.
I thought parts were very good. Special effects were great! I hated that the Weasley house was destroyed. Never happened. I hated that so much time was spent on teenage angst and so little time on learning more about Voldemort. I liked that they showed how much this was destroying Draco. Tom Felton played his part to perfection! I liked that we saw a glimpse into the fact that Snape might be good and this was more evident than the book let on. Rupert Grint did well playing lovesick as well.
