WONDERFUL!! WONDERFUL!! We went to the sing along this weekend and had a great time. I saw the live show with my girlfriend in Philly and then saw the movie. I have played ABBA music for a long time and now I don't stop playing the CD of the show. LOVED Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan. Can't wait to buy it and watch whenever I want.

Loved it. Left the theater smiling and humming. My 6 year old grandaughter has now seen it twice and is begging for more. Perfect movie for all ages. The seniors in the audeince were roaring as loud as the youngsters. Just a fun, carefree experience. We have seen the regular version and the sing-a-long version with the words on the bottom of the screen. That was even better!!!

This was absolutely entertaining from beginning to the end. The music brought me back to another era and certainly enhanced the overall feelings of the movie. the acting was exquisite and the plot expanded thru out the movie. I would give it 5 plus stars

This is the most amazing film that I have ever seen! It is wholesome, it made me laugh, it made me cry, and it made me sing (literally). The actors are so well suited and the setting is perfect. Even my non-chick-flick husband loved it!

Not the greatest movie ever made, but tons of fun to watch and sing along with. Actors did a great job. Meryl Streep is so free and fun. Julie Walters is HILARIOUS. Amanda is beautiful and her voice is so sweet and clear. And, don't listen to the hype about Pierce Brosnan's voice. He doesn't have a professional grade voice, but it really isn't bad.

We thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Took whole family and had to work hard to keep my husband from standing up and singing. It is amazine how good a singer Meryl Streep is and Julie Walters as well. Definitely recommend.

I grew up with ABBA's music and couldn't wait to see Mama Mia. The only way you would know it was filmed in Greece is if you’d actually BEEN to Greece. The big turn-off: lyrics in synch with every song ("follow-the-bouncing-ball" sing-a-long) - more of an annoyance after the third song. The storyline itself was good. Amanda Seyfried was wonderful as Sophie - beautiful voice; played her role extremely well. But Meryl Streep & Pierce Brosnan as leads? Questionable. Some of the scenes were quite a stretch, including the two final songs (when credits were rolling) I honestly expected it to be better than it was.

I saw Mamma Mia on broadway once and though I liked, once was enough. When I saw Pierce Brossman was in the movie I did want to see it. My girl friend talked me into the sing along version. I did not see the Musical and as a guy was a little skeptical about going to see the film. That was relieved in the first minute of the movie. It is a very positive, high energy, upbeat , full of fun movie. I strongly recommend this to everone, young, old, male, female...everyone. I loved the stage version so when my date suggested this "chick flick" as he called it, I was excited to go. I loved the music (of course, it's the Abba tunes that drew me in the first time), the choreography, costumes and cast, especially Sophie. Some of the singng wasn't great, but from such acclaimed actors that was okay and entertaining on it s own. I give Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan lots of credit for even trying to carry a tune on scrreen. The movie is so uplifting (though we both shed a few tears). My date and I both left with "what a feeling!"

LOVED IT! Have seen it four times already (once with sub-titles to sing along), and planning to see it again. As soon as it hits DVD, it's ours. Great to see actors singing, despite their capability, and it seemed all were having a terrific time. Would even recommend it for our granddaughters, just a great movie.

This was the second time I saw this movie and it took searching to find the one theatre showing the sing along version in my area. I was astounded that 99% of the audience sat there like lumps not singing or even moving!!!! I suggest a aspect of buying a ticket for this event is a suggestion or signature or separate print out that encourages interaction!! We talked to two separate individuals while in the theatre or buying popcorn that had seen the London show and relayed everone was dancing in the ailes! I can picture..people seeing again and again like Titantic, Big Fat Greek Wedding, Rocky Mountain Horror Show, a fun time had by all many times. Loosen up America and get out of your seats!!!!!

I had the luck to see the version where there are words to the songs along the bottom of the screen. And I have to say that the audience participation amazed me! I'm suspect of a musical being made into a movie but I feel for "Mamma Mia", they hit a home run on the big screen. This movie made me want to jump up and dance in the aisles. I found myself singing along to the songs and then glancing to the sides to see if anyone was watching me. The people next to me were singing too! I didn't know Meryl Streep could sing. She was great as the mother. I couldn't have picked a better person to play this part. I have seen the movie three times. I had to tell other moviegoers not to leave the theater during the credits because there are surprizes still to come. However, last night we saw the "sing-a-long" version and they changed the extra fun after the credits. That did not make us happy! Why would they do that? The sing-along version should only be for those seeing it for a second or third time..or more. First time watchers should see it with all it's cinematography beauty so you don't miss it while looking at the words to the songs. I am sure the tourism in Greece will increase after this move!

I totally and completely loved this movie the first time I saw it. I can't wait 'til the DVD comes out! So.....I went to see it again yesterday and promptly went and bought the soundtrack. I even downloaded SOS as the ringtone for my husband's calls to remind me that I can't live without him! I had never downloaded a ringtone, so I had no clue how to do it. Needless to say 3 hours later, I had to sleep on it and tried again in the morning.......finally figured it out!!! It's a must see if you're a hopeless romantic like me!! It's also a fun movie. I totally loved this movie. i will be the first to admit that i only know a few ABBA songs and no plot knowledge of the movie, but i totally loved it. I took my son (who is 8) and even though he didn't understand the adult humor (thankfully), he loved to music and was up dancing in the aisle during one of the numbers! We will definitely go again AND buy the DVD

I tried to see the Sing Along version of the movie but ended up buying tickets to the regular version. I googled the official mamma mia web page, followed the link to the sing-along theaters in my area, and from there bought tix online for the theater nearest me. It was showing on two screens, but only one was a sing-along, and the website didn't make that clear. Once we realized that it wasn't sing-along we snuck into the sing-along theater, but we missed some of the movie. So, I liked what I saw, and the sing-along part is lots of fun, but be sure to call the actual theater beforehand to make sure!

the movie was not what I expected - the music was good - actors were good - but as a overall movie itself - I found it to be a little "cheesy" as a story line. A little dramatic at times - but - still a must see if not for the music and comedy of it all on the big screen

I went to see this movie with one of my friends. and if you haven't seen it, you need to. it is the best movie I have seen this year so far. the songs in it , takes you back. and women out there will appluse Meryl Streep, I didn't think that she could sing but her bouncey kind of way,and what women goes through , I can't explain it but please see this movie as soon as you can, I laughed so hard and I cried, so bring tissues when you see this movie, it makes you feel good inside after you have seen it. wonderfull movie of all time, so ladies, see it today.

I have seen the movie 4 times and the play twice. If I can find another person who hasn't seen it yet , I will drag them with me to see it again. It is such a feel good movie and you just feel like singing all day. How great to come out of a movie and feel this good instead of depressed. See it as many times as you can! Get the album and sing along every day. Pierce can't sing but after four times even he is sounding good.

Loved, loved, loved it!! Saw it three times so far and plan to see it again Fri. Bought the CD of Abba and dance around all day to it. Took my husband and he loved it too. P. Brosnan is so musically challanged but pulls it off perfectly. Can't wait till it comes out, will certainly buy the DVD for my collection.

This movie was fantastic. People in the theater were applauding at the end. U leave the movie feeling very happy. One of the best movies we have seen in a long time. We plan to see it again on Friday so we can sing along..
