Oh What a Movie!

I loved the stage version so when my date suggested this "chick flick" as he called it, I was excited to go. I loved the music (of course, it's the Abba tunes that drew me in the first time), the choreography, costumes and cast, especially Sophie. Some of the singng wasn't great, but from such acclaimed actors that was okay and entertaining on it s own. I give Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan lots of credit for even trying to carry a tune on scrreen. The movie is so uplifting (though we both shed a few tears). My date and I both left with "what a feeling!"
Yes, I recommend this movie.
