Okay. I love all the Indiana Jones' movie. They are all action packed and exciting. Unfortuantely, this one was lacking. I thought it was just "cute". It was funny and enjoyable, but not the typical Indi movies. I wanted the action and excitement. Some parts just didn't make sense. I think they should have stopped at the last one. I do like the idea of him having a son though. If they wanted to continue the movies, he can become the star.

From the first 5 seconds of the film you will see that the entirety of the movie will be a string of bad computer animation. Between that, the strained dialog, the tired plot, and OLD INDY, you will wish you had saved the nine bucks for something else.

A wonderful reunion with old friends! Indy is as good as ever and it's great having Marion back in the mix. Questions about past characters are dealt with nicely and new characters blend in very well. Can't wait to see more of Mutt continuing the adventures!

If you are like me and grew up with Indiana Jones - boy did I go to this movie full of excitement. It had action, adventure, but not like the Indiana I was used to. I was dissapointed by the plot and I felt the ending was a let down. I was surprised that Harrison Ford would sign on to do a movie with kind of a plot considering his long list of fabulous movies under his belt. Go see it for the action and nostalgia - not fot the plot!

I enjoyed the passage of time theme running through the entire film. Characters had developed, and in many ways the film is a reflection of how people change, learn new things, pass them on, and in doing so, remain the same. Indy is a personification of adventure, and wether we like it or not, we're all adventuring. Great film!

I wanted "classic" Indy chase scenes. I wanted subtle humor. I wanted a story that was a "stretch" as far as realism, yet still plausible. I got all of these things in Indy 4.
With Last Crusade still being my favorite, this easily fits in as well as Raiders for overall enjoyment. Lucas dipped his hand in this a bit too m uch, but Speilberg directed beautifully.
Definately worth watching.

This was in fact the 1st Indiana Jones movie that I've seen in theaters. Being like 2 when The Last Crusade came out. The Kingdom of the Crystal is an outstanding movie. Better than all the latest movie. It matches and even outdos some of the Indiana Jones originals. A very good asset was the reaperance of Merriam Ravenwood(from The Raiders of the Lost Ark). Though the ending left some questions dwindling it was not enough to damage the perfection of this movie. I come to the conclusion saying that thia is a movie to see and buy. 5 stars

that name is Indiana Jones. The Ziegfeld Theater in New York was full in terms of seats and buzz. The buzz stopped as soon as the first horns started with the familiar music we all knew. For those of us who grew up watching Indiana Jones, we were back. In that darkened theater, we were kids again. For two hours on the evening of May 22nd, a time machine existed. This Indiana was not the one you remember although the fedora and bullwhip were the same. It really wasn't the years, it was the mileage. This is the most charismatic that Ford has been since Air Force One. This time around, the action is 20 years later and the foes are the Soviets. In this time the FBI has whipped America into a frenzy with regard to the red menace. Even Indy is not immune and is ostracized by society.
Indy never falters, although is step is less swift and it takes a lot more punches to knock out a foe.
This movie is full of action, comedy, remembrance and regret. At one point, Indy quotes hiimself as Han Solo in The Empire Strikes Back when he says, "I've got a bad feeling about this".
If you are a fan of Indiana Jones, you should have stopped reading already and left for the theater. If you're doubting me, go anyway, what do you risk?
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Nice to see our old pal Indiana Jones again! I liked this movie quite a bit but not as much as the original (it is better than the 2nd one).
You may notice that many of the special effects have been seen in other movies (i.e. The Mummy, National Treasure and previous Indiana Jones features).
Even though at times the scenery was unrealistic and looked like the back lot at a movie studio rather than a foreign land, I had a great time renewing my acquaintance with the lovable Mr. Jones.

Not only are the Indian Jones movies a joy to experience, but the scripts for all actors are fun to listen to! I especially liked the exchange between Harrison and Karen when discussing their in-between relationships. Harrison has the most endearing line when he answers "they were'nt you". Has to make guys and gals hearts skip a beat =). Thanks for giving us another beautiful film to watch and story to add to the Indi treasure chest.

I had high expectations for Indy 4. Overall it was a good movie and a lot of fun. I think with some franchises (Star Wars, Indy) we expect perfection. This one falls a little short of that. Harrison looks great and I appreciate Lucas and Spielberg aging his character appropriately. Blanchett was marvelous as the russian villian, and it was good to see Karen Allen on screen again. The vibe I got as I left the theater was similar to Star Wars episode one, it was good but felt a little lacking. I would reccommend this film to others and will probably go see it again

Even though there were a lot of really good action scenes and Harrison Ford did an awesome job yet again as Indy, the story line was a bit weak. I think they could have done without George Lucas writing this movie because I believe his influence ruined the movie. I wish I could say more, but I don't want to ruin the movie for anyone who goes to see it.

This movie brought back the fun, excitment, and wonder I felt during the 1st Indiana movie. I remember seeing the 1st movie with my father in the theater when i was younger. It has been a very long time, nearly 10 years now since the last movie. This movie brings back all the excitement and wonder of being a kid at the movies. It was fun and a wild ride the entire time. Harrison Ford played an artful Indiana Jones just as I remembered him although he is older in this movie it does not detract from the feeling. As older fans will experience this older feel younger fans will learn the fun that comes from Indiana Jones. It is like watching him be reborn again with the addition of the new younger Indiana being groomed for future movies. Nothing was out of place, and everything felt distinctive Indiana. I can not wait to see where the movie series goes in the future.

Saw it opening day. Was def. looking forward to it. It was a 6 out of 10 at best. It was nice to see Dr. Jones back on the screen and there were elements in this flick that made previous indy flicks great but in the end....too much. The story was too far out their and it was cheesy at times. I thought I just watched a M.Night Shaymaylan product instead of a true Spielberg/Lucas film. Harrison Ford just kind of went through the motions at times. Good scenary though!

Movies like this are all about expectations. What are you realistically expecting it to be? If you go in expecting it to be the best of the series, you won't get that. And it never could have been that way. The first will always be best because it was fresh and new and we'd never quite had an experience like that before. Sequels can only every be a replica of that experience minus the uniqueness. That's what Spielberg and Co. give us here. More of the same with some fresh twists here and there.

At Times a little too hollywood cheeseball, even more so than the quirkiness of the original three, Lucas, Speilberg and company do justice to the last installment of the Jones series.
Shai Lebeouf(whatever) is tiresome, and borderline obnoxious, while his role in the film could have been written out completely. Indy is still great though, and the movie does have some moments of real depth. Adding the area 51 theme, with the setting is appropriate, and overall, the movie was a pleasure to watch.

If you were expecting the Indiana Jones of 20 years ago, yes you would be disappointed, and just plain stupid!!! Wake up... everyone ages, and so does Indiana Jones!!! It is 20 years later, things in the world have changed. Fortunely, Jones' attitude and quick wit are the same, and he looks great. It was a non-stop action movie and recommend it to all to go and see!!!!!

Things to love-
The rockin' credits sequence thrusts you into the era with high energy.
Indy stumbling upon the "model American suburb."
The reverence for the characters no longer with us.
The reunion.
Things to like -
Cate Blanchett as the elegant femme fatale.
Shia as the macho greaser.
Things that are meh -
The "McGuffin".
The Ray Winstone. (he's a fine actor, just underscripted.)
In summary - This is no PG13 creepfest, it is a family friendly action pic that has enough winks at adults and the source material to make it entertaining, It may help to give your kids a lesson on the Cold War before taking them to the theatre.
