This movie let me down. I expected more. Tainted the Indy saga almost. It was too Lucas/ Spielberg-y. By that i mean corny. They really cheesed it up. Guess theyre getting old and cutesy. The ending was wrapped up way too nicely. Almost like someone wants to keep cashing in on the saga. I was expecting to see Jar-Jar Binks pop up as comic relief (I think the prairie dogs were trying to fill that void). I just didnt believe all the action scenes, they were too far over the top. No character development either. Almost like they propped up a bunch of old characters just to make action figures in the near future. Give me a good plot and cut out all the CGI. I need believability. The other Indy movies were clever, funny, and action packed. I did like the alien connection, and some of the scenery you could see behind all the close ups. Good to see Harrison Ford, he can still pull it off.

The stunts and scare tactics were typical Indi-Jones. It was enjoyable movie. Great fight scenes and chases. Our new Indi Jr. will carry the legacy fine!

I'm glad I saw it, because I've always been such a fan of the franchise, but I feel like they made this movie just for making the movie's sake. Speilburg and Lucas seem to have thrown so many of their other films into this one. That wasn't necessary. I loved that Marion was back along with Indy's son. But I feel like the filmakers relied too heavily on CGI. They turned Indy into a superhero, instead of the reason why we all loved him, because he was just an average guy, thrown into extrodinary situations. I was disappointed.

A fun movie, not as good as the first one. Dragged a bit at times. Nice touch to have a pix of Sean Connery as referenced as Henry Jones I, from a previous flick. Some effects lifted from "The Mummy". Some good laughs.For those too young, most of the audience, accurate connections with the mores, styles and the political climate of the 50's. For example the kid momentarily looked a bit like Marlon Brando character in "The Wild One" as he came up on his motorcycleand called out "Hey old man" to Ford.

I was extemely disappointed with this movie. I expected some "cheesy" action sequences but, give me a break! Surviving a nuclear blast in a refrigerator? And the whole "aliens from another dimension" was a real bummer as well. I think it is time for George Lucas to retire. This was one of the worst movies I have seen in a long time.

The movie was entertaining but compared to the first three it miissed a more realistic archeological story line that was differrent and the stunts were a little to far fetched. I guess knowing Harrison Ford's age influenced my perception of the action portion of the movie.

Indie takes a swing and Swish! he misses... I expected much more from G. Lucas' writing. This movie is soo disapointingly boring and poor, it's great that it's not two hours lonng. They try and set up a poor sequel possibility but, because of the lackluster showing of this chapter, I think this now-tired franchise needs to take a permanent break, until Steven Spielberg gets the hockeysticks outa town and never is involved in another one. He ruined it with the alien theme (can he only make ET and CEotTK?). It's all predictably boring 'action' scenes, with poorly crafted villians (friend or foe? can't really tell), with little to no story-plot to tie the movement of the film together, (movement? that's what this films becomes, a movement towards the door). Now we know what the spacecraft from CEotTK part III looks like. It's too bad more of Crystal Skull wasn't left on the cutting-room floor. My wife and I both were bored by it. After it was over we slipped in to see 'Sex and the City' and finally enjoyed our movie night experience.

It was good. Lots of Indy action. Indy escaped sure death in the ice box scene. That was not possible. All the adventure along the way and some surprises. The young associate was well done. The end was really far out. Time for infy to retire. He is way to old for those antics. All in all a pretty good movie. NOT FOR CHILDREN UNDER 12. I would wait till it come to the rental place. Cost 20.00 for a movie. Too much money.

It is what it is - a fun movie. Some of the stunts wouldn't pass the Mythbusters test but they are fun and the acting is great and Indy and Marrianne still have great chemistry. Nothing ever was as good as the first but this is still true to form.

It held my attention and I bit down a fingernail. Anything else would be a bonus, and there wasn't one. I don't remember the earlier films, except that I really liked the first one and the others were so-so. This is of the so-so variety. Special effects, so-so. Set-design, so-so (we saw much of it in "National Treasure"). Stunts, exciting enough. The cast, well, great actors, underemployed. Overall, I am glad I saw it on the big screen, I'd have turned it off if I had tried it on DVD.

Loved Harrison Ford - He still has it! Shia LaBeouf is great. I am looking forward to him carrying on the series. Karen Allen...well, not the greatest but we'll give her the benefit of the doubt. I thought this movie was excellent even though my all time favorite is "the last crusade". Karen Allen was a blast from the past; they could have chosen anybody but her. I didn't even like her in the previous episode she played in. Ford acted his age, he didn't try to re-live his younger days so I thought that was good. Shia Lebouf, although he's turning into one of those actors that you will get tired of seeing because he's in EVERYTHING, adds comedy to the picture. Overall I truly enjoyed it and give it 5 stars.

Wow...........i thought the first 3 were bad..... THIS WAS HORRIBLE!!! Indy is already like 10000000000 years old, and i dont think hes a good actor in this AT ALL> the only good part was Shia and his hottness :/

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is a great addition to the series. While not on the same level as Raiders of the Lost Ark, it fits nicely along side of Last Crusade and is a better flick then Temple of Doom.
This outing finds Indy in the midst of Cold War intrigue and the red scare as he must race against Soviet Agents to claim an ancient artifact and find a legendary lost city.

Maybe it was me (and the 7 other people who saw it with me) but the movie just doesn't have the impact it once did. I've seen all the episodes, even viewed the origninal last week, and this latest seemed tired and getting old quickly. The chase scenes were fun but there were no surprises. I could predict everything that went on and it never lived up to my expectations. I had a good time but missed the excitement and surprise.

I looked into the mystery of the real crystal skulls, and found the plot line pretty accurate. Many mysteries left for you in the first films (Example: What the heck happened to Indy's first girlfriend?) are answered. I gotta admit that some parts were a little bit over- exaggerated (Example: Mutt leading a pack of spider monkeys to attack the Russians), but this is the final installment, isn't it? A must see for all Indy/ historical-mystery fans. P.S. Don't let the 'Star Rating' fool you: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is easily twice as good as Ironman.
