This movie let me down. I expected more. Tainted the Indy saga almost. It was too Lucas/ Spielberg-y. By that i mean corny. They really cheesed it up. Guess theyre getting old and cutesy. The ending was wrapped up way too nicely. Almost like someone wants to keep cashing in on the saga. I was expecting to see Jar-Jar Binks pop up as comic relief (I think the prairie dogs were trying to fill that void). I just didnt believe all the action scenes, they were too far over the top. No character development either. Almost like they propped up a bunch of old characters just to make action figures in the near future. Give me a good plot and cut out all the CGI. I need believability. The other Indy movies were clever, funny, and action packed. I did like the alien connection, and some of the scenery you could see behind all the close ups. Good to see Harrison Ford, he can still pull it off.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
