I really enjoyed Monsters vs Aliens. My 6 year old and wife loved it too. There were points that I laughed so loud that I thought I was disturbing the other patrons. I recommend this movie for all ages. Lots of fun and a great story about friendship, learning your strengths, who you are and learning to love that person no matter what you might look like or who might or might not like you. As long as you like yourself.

I had no pre-concieved expectation when I went into the Movie showhouse to watch Monsters vs Aliens. And I was not disapointed because. I was absolutely entertained from the start to the finish of this movie. And my two children - one boy who is 11 and his sister at 9, were too. My kids have seen just about everything and are a tough sell on these animated movies( usually-) but this movie had them laughing nearly all the way thru .So if you got kids or just love aniated 3D movies this one is Highly recomended.

I took my little cousin to this movie and we were both bored with it wihin the first half an hour. it felt like it had no plot to it whatsever and some of the language it in i wouldnt want her to repeat. it was a cute movie though.

Went to see movie with 7 & 8 year old sons. Kept us all entertained and laughing. My only regret is we saw it in a regular theatre. We are new to this city & tried to search for a theatre so we could see it in 3D. I thought all the theatres that came up were 3D & bought our tickets on line. When we got there we realized they did not have it in 3D. You can tell the movie should be viewed in 3D. I think we will go see it at a different theatre so we can see it the right way.

Not sure what all the hype was about. While cute, not the blockbuster it was made out to be. My 4 year old wanted to leave 1/3 of the way through. Laughed a few times, so not a total waste, but glad we went to the matinee.

What I actually did see of this movie I did enjoy. The theatre, notorious for poor presentation quality, wasn't able to keep the sound consistent enough to understand the dialogue. But, this movie is actually very well-done. Seth Rogen steals the show as BOB, a gelatinous mass. His performance made the movie for me. It's definitely a good way to keep kids entertained for 90 minutes so we'll likely be buying the DVD when it comes out. I have a 2-year old and a 12-year old, this was a good way to spend the afternoon. I'd recommend the movie to anyone!

This is the first movie that my 5 year old has sat still through!! He laughed out loud several times. After the movie, he told me he loved it and would like to see it again. I enjoyed the movie also, and definitely liked the positive message of "liking yourself as you are even if you are different" in a way that was not beating you over your head with it. Due to it being my 4 yr old's first theater experience, we decided to see it without 3D. It was still a very enjoyable movie. The sound was a little on the loud sound and it was a little violent but it is PG not G so it really could have been worse. The humor was good for both younger children and the adults. I liked the positive theme of liking yourself as you are even if you are different. All around enjoyed it!

Not as funny as we thought it was going to be. There was parts which we thought we a little to adult for kids however Im sure that those few moments went over the kids heads as it should have.

my 2 yr old and 13 yr old both enjoyed the movie grandma, grandpa and mom all enjoyed it too
