made ticket purchase for wrong version. saw the 2D version and it was great. Animation was amazing! Might go back and see it in 3D. I didnt know there was a format option when purchasing the tix online. I had seen the first look on HBO twice and they talked about 3D, 3D, and 3D. So I was bummed that I saw the wrong version. Dont make same mistake!

This was my 4 year old's first movie in a theater, and he loved it. He started out slouched down in his seat, and was perched on the edge by the middle of the movie. Great messages about heros and friendship for the kids, with plenty of higher level humor for the parents.

I felt that the animation/graphics were great, as usual. It was obvious that much of the effort was put into it being 3D (even though we didn't see the 3D version), therefore, lacking in story. I find this to be the case in all movies made in 3D. (I'm gonna start avoiding them) My almost 5 year old liked it, so that made it worth it, but I'm not likely to add this to her DVD collection.

I had 6 kids ages 6-12. All loved the movie, especially the 6 year old boys. The 8 year old boy thought it was awesome! The 10 year old boy gave it "an 8 out of 10". 12 year old girl thought it was cute! I found it very entertaining.

I took my 3-year-old daughter and I may have laughed more than she did! They definitly made this an easy movie for parents to watch and a great film for kids to LOVE! Even my daughter who is such a tomboy now thinks Susan is the greatest superhero in the world!

Although I could have done without some of the more indulgent moments like the "BUTT scan" for security clearance....(did we really need to go there?) I liked the way the story progressed, the empowerment of a female character, and Seth's Superb read as "BOB".
The only thing missing for me as a HUGE Hugh Laurie fan was MORE lines for him, but there are NO SMALL ROLES and he rocked every last one.

I took two five year old girls and an eleven year old girl to see it on a babysitting excursion- and we all enjoyed ourselves. Even the five year olds watched the entire movie without shuffling about or talking so it was entertaining enough to hold their attention.
It's not a movie that you'll take with you long after you go, but it's a fun, easy movie, and even has a good message for the kids - particularly the girls.

This movie is funny and full of action. It pays homage to lots of old horror and sci fi movies so it's not just for kids. There were enough references to other movies that I lost count. I took my 4 year old daughter to see this along with my 2 of my girlfriends and one of them brought their 7 year old son. We really enjoyed it. My daughter enjoyed it as well. It was funny and cute. I took my 3 year old daughter, and she liked it, I don't think she got the humor as much as I did though. She didn't start laughing till everyone else did in the theatre, but she said it was good when she got out. May buy it when it comes out.

Monsters vs. Aliens was great to watch with the family. The action was non-stop so even my youngest son didn't lose interest! The kids loved it and so did I.

My family and I really enjoyed Monsters vs Aliens. It was a little over our 4 year olds head, but she still enjoyed the characters and the action. It is great fun for fans of the old sci fi B movies and gives personality to some of the old monsters from those same movies. Overall it is good family fun and we will probably buy this when it is released for sale.
