I think this Harry Potter is the best one so far. The quality of the acting has increased exponentially and the special effects were very well done. The movie itself does not follow the book exactly, but movies take time and money there is no possible way every detail can be included. I really like the books and the movies, the key is to seperate them. They are not going to be perfectly in line with eachother. It was a great movie and harry potter lovers and non-harry potter lovers will enjoy it. The evolution of this series is truly evident in this film.

I enjoyed the book so much more than the movie. Don't get me wrong, David Yates did a wonderful job in producing a good adaption from the book. Since there are some who will only watch the movies, the storyline needs to be easy to follow. The movie worked in that sense. But there was so much left out from the book, important stuff, I thought and so much was changed or assummed that you didn't get a true sense of character struggle. But it's Harry Potter, you need the movie.

Loved it - really don't want to wait for the DVD (so I can see ALL of the deleted scene)!!! ....Yes, the movie should probably have been split into two. They left out a LOT. But what they put in was absolutely excellent....Can't wait to see how they manage to wrap it up!!!!!

the movie was very good Purists will not like the divergences from the story lines of the book. Those with small children will not like the three hour run time or the intensity of certain scenes. The cast has grown up well, especially Tom Felton and Bonnie Wright who should have strong futures beyond the series. I liked the movie. I know they can't put everything in the book into a movie or it would go on for ages. But, if they are going to take the time to add scenes to a movie that were not in the book, then why not put more of the book in the movie? I mean, makes sense to me. Yes, they left out some very important plot points, but it's impossible to get the whole book on film.The funeral is supposed to be at the beginning of the next movie and there will be an epic battle at the end of the last movie - so that was okay.I was actually quite pleased at how well they stayed close to the book.I thought Broadbent did a wonderful job.Tom Felton also has come a long way and did a great job.They've all grown up and have become quite good actors.The stairway scene with Hermione and Harry broke my heart - excellent.Disappointed that so many things like Nearly Headless Nick, Moaning Myrtle and Dobby have been left out of the last few.And, WHERE IS PEEVES!? That's my biggest disappointment with all the movies -no Peeves.

I believe this is by far the best Harry Potter yet. If you are not a fan of Harry Potter and you haven't seen any other movie, you will need to see those before going to this one. It wasn't to the book as I would have like (ending is what I am talking most of). However it was great and I plan to go back and see it again at least 2 more times before it comes out on DVD and I buy it.

As they did for the last book, this movie should have been two movies. It left out a great deal of the relevant story line but managed to flow well. This was the darkest of all the H.P. movies but it was still very enjoyable. I'd recommend it.

I like the character of Harry Potter, but this movie was too slow. Not enough whimsy, not enough Harry Potter. I believe they could have tempered the aging process of Harry and still keep the feel of the earlier films, but they failed at this. I would wait to rent it or to watch it on ABC family.

I absolutely LUVED this movie!!! It was great, the special effects were really good. I mean, I checked Wiki and this movie had costed the most out of all the Harry Potter movies. I did enjoy the movie, but I didn't like the ending. I thought they could have done a better job and put more action into it. There's also little things that they left out that are so important for the next movie. Overall, it was OK, but the book is much much better.

to me this moves was a disappointment. it seemed as if they were trying to save some money. if anyone is planing on seeing this movie wait to rent it. And if you want to save the thought of good Herry Potter movies then just skip this one.

The movie was excellent and I would see it over and over again! It's one of the closest Potter films to the books, aside from a few things being left out. Otherwise, it was the best one yet!
