When's the last time you saw a movie and walked away stating that absolutely nothing was wrong with it? It happens when you see a movie of this magnitude. Visually impeccable, mentally and emotionally numbing, The Dark Knight
Heath Ledger was extremely haunting as the Joker. To see him portray a character that truly is bent on mayhem is truly unnerving to say the least.

The Dark Knight was and is a great movie, but as far as best movie of all time or this year? I think a few people are getting ahead of themselves. Heath Ledgers performance was stunning which left you wondering what the creators of the series will do next without its new /gone superstar role. The introduction of 2 face was a stunning side story as well, yet that character ended fairly soon in my mind. Anyways if you want to see a great film go see Batman.

I didn't really know what to expect; I'd heard a lot of hype about the movie and really didn't expect it to live up to that hype. It did! I thought Heath Ledger did an excellent job - I thoroughly enjoyed him as the Joker. And Christian Bale, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman were also very enjoyable and brought great life to their characters. Great movie - I would definitely recommend seeing it.

This was definitely worth the wait! Heath Ledger did an awesome job with the joker...he was scary and yet humorous throughout the movie. It gave a new depth to the characters of batman.

This movie catches your attention from beginning to end and always keeps you guessing. The action was phenomenal, and it was great to see this sequel more on the dark side. I thought i would dread the 2 &1/2 hour time but didnt regret a minute of it. THIS MOVIE IS A MUST WATCH FOR EVERYONE!!!

The Dark Knight will bring you to the edge of your seat knock you right back down. When I thought I'd had all I could take, there was still 30 minutes left. Gary Oldman disappears into the role of Jim Gordon. Heath Ledger's Joker is terrifying. Everyone should have a Lucious Fox on their team. Go see this film and then go see it again.

I loved this movie and so did the ones that accompanied me to the theater. My husband was the biggest test. He falls asleep during most movies because they do not keep his attention or interest. He was wide awake for every second of this two and a half hour film... or should I say masterpiece. Heath Ledger gave a preformance I will never forget and I walked away from the movie saddened that I will never again be able to witness his brilliance. So my final words for you are " Loved It, Loved It, Absolutely Loved It!"

Great movie, never stops. Good storyline, acting, camerwork, action scenes. I have nothing bad to say about this movie. Heath Ledger puts the 'campy' Joker's to shame. Wonderful job, replacing him in the next film (if there is one) will be close to impossible. Go see this film.

The Dark Knight was absolutely awesome. The constant action and thrilling story will keep you involved. Although at times it seems long, something is always about to happen to pull you back into the twisting and surprising plot. You HAVE to see this move. Christian Bale is the best Batman so far (apparently channeling Clint Eastwood at times), and Heath Ledger's take on the Joker sets the bar for other movie villains (and not just because of his untimely death). He deserves every accolade the critics and fans have given him for this role.

I was a little nervous about seeing "Dark Knight." I hate getting all excited about a movie and then being let down. This movie was so much better than my expectations! The fight scenes were great. Christian Bale and Heath Ledger did such an amazing job! I would definitely recommend it for anyone ages 13+ (younger only if you know the child can handle it). Best movie I've seen in a long time!

OMG there is not enough words to describe how I feel about this movie. It is awesome and Heath Ledger is fantastic. I grew up watching the original Batman series so I was shocked at how well he did compared to the original.
This movie is definitely worth seeing again and again. I can't wait for the DVD. Went with my teenager and 12 yr old and both loved it and want to own DVD and see movie again.
Go now, run to see it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Remember too, there is dark humor and it's ok to laugh. The only downer for us was that no one but us seemed to get the Joker's warped sense of humor. I don't know if people were thinking about Heath being dead in real life or what, but come on folks, it's ok to laugh at Joker, he'd want it that way.

A wonderfully mastered opera on screen. The entire cast deserves a standing ovation. Ledger's performance was haunted by his tragic death but the energy he poured into the role as The Joker will assure his immortalization amongst other high-end actors. The movie score is unbreakable and delivers scenes flawlessly. A must-see movie and on an IMAX screen if possible.

Dark Night is my favorite movie of all time. I've already seen it twice in theaters and plan on seeing it at least 3 more times. It is amazingly done! Heath Ledger's performance deserves the academy award regardless of what other movies come out! I love action movies, and the people i took with me don't but EVEN they loved this movie.

The Dark Knight really was amazing. I think it exceeds all the hype. The movie is 2 hours and 30 minutes long but you never feel it. Even at the end i wanted more. Christian Bale delivers a solid performance. Heath Ledger was utterly phenomenal. It really made me sad all over again that he is gone. Aaron Eckhart's Dent is spot on if you're a comic book fan. Maggie Gylenhaal replacing Katie Holmes as Rachel Dawes does a much better job emoting than Katie did. Gary Oldman is always a pleasure to watch and does not disappoint. All in all a great ensemble cast. A note to parents, I would not take a 13 year old to see this PG-13 movie. There is little gore or profanity but there is a ton violence and some truly disturbing scenes.

Good Acting and all...this movie is definitely dark and disturbing though. Those points in traditional movies where you hit the climax, get the resolution, and then think in the back of your mind, "I knew nothing bad would happen afterall"--those moments aren't in this movie.
There are some interesting points to ponder, and a few noble moments.

I am now and have always been a huge Joker fan and Heath Ledger steals the whole show. I expected to be disapointed by another campy version of the joker like the old tv show or the Jack Nickelson version but I was extremely supprised by the awesome version of the Joker that Heath Ledger plays in this movie. If he does not get an oscar (after death) for this role there is no justice in the world. Ledger took the role of the Joker to a completely new level and the world should be truely saddened by the loss of such a spectacular actor in his prime.
The movie is great but you seem to wait for the Joker to come on the screen since he steals every scene he is in. This is by far the best bat man movie ever made.
