The Dark Knight really was amazing. I think it exceeds all the hype. The movie is 2 hours and 30 minutes long but you never feel it. Even at the end i wanted more. Christian Bale delivers a solid performance. Heath Ledger was utterly phenomenal. It really made me sad all over again that he is gone. Aaron Eckhart's Dent is spot on if you're a comic book fan. Maggie Gylenhaal replacing Katie Holmes as Rachel Dawes does a much better job emoting than Katie did. Gary Oldman is always a pleasure to watch and does not disappoint. All in all a great ensemble cast. A note to parents, I would not take a 13 year old to see this PG-13 movie. There is little gore or profanity but there is a ton violence and some truly disturbing scenes.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
