Must-See Movie... The Joker might be the scariest thing for a PG-13 movie. They got so lucky for that rating, but they use it to the fullest. The action is amazing!

Clearly one of the best sequels ever .. it avoids the cliches normally associated with sequels. The storyline is incredible ... the character development ... Heath Ledger is getting a lot of notice and rightly so. He is incredible .. as is Christian Bale ... and excellent choice in going to Maggie Gylenhall vs Katie Holmes. Highly recommended. Will see again.

I don't normally see movies at midnight and I wasn't sure if this movie was going to rock my world like it should to be worthy of a midnight viewing but lo and behold it lived up to it.
Christian was amazing as always, very intense. And as I am sure everyone has already said, Heath's performance was amazing. The Joker is a hard role and he managed to make him crazy but appealing at the same time. Very charismatic and frightening. The director nailed it, the pacing, the style the dark theme...he did it without being cheesy or seeming manufactured. I think back to the cheese of the old Batman movies and realize that Hollywood had no idea how to handle comic book heroes. But now they do. The Dark Knight rides that fine line between comic, grit and movie that is so hard to master.
Warning: There is more Joker than Batman in this movie but I couldn't care less. Totally fun film and I will definitely see it in the theater again!

This was simply put, the best most suspenseful and greatest produced superhero movie of our time. Not to mention that it is by far one of the best suspense crime drama's I have ever seen. The acting was class A and Ledger's sadistic performance literally had me on the edge of my seat at moments. YOU MUST SEE THIS MOVIE!

At first I wasn't a fan of the Batman movie NoI'll never miss another one! The movie is 2 and a half hours long and it could've been 4 hours long and everyone would've still been sitting in their seats staring at the screen.

I am even more sad that Ledger is gone because he can never expand on an amazing performance. The battle between Batman and the Joker re-defines their previous relationship in any other movie or show. Amazing.

This is the best Batman Movie ever made. The Joker was the best super villain ever created. All the performances were spectacular. Its sad that Heathe Ledger died, I would have love to see him take on Batman again. This is my favorite superhero movie ever. Ironman was great this was flawless. Words can't do it justice. A true masterpiece.

I've heard reviewers say that this is the best superhero movie ever - and it is very high on my list - definitely the best Batman movie ever. Heath Ledger completely destroys the Jack Nicholson version of the Joker. Nolan and crew created a truly disturbing and scary Joker without having to result to blood and gore. It was Hitchcockian suspense that made me feel on edge whenever the Joker was on screen - he was just so unpredictable, scary, and yes funny at times (in a nervous funny kind of way). Two Face was great - but a disappointment to the future of the franchise. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS - this is for the 13 and up crowd for sure.

Every bit of this movie was thought out, everything from character usage to small lines in the script to connecting themes, everything in it has a purpose. On top of that, Heath Ledger gave one of the most incredible performances I have ever seen. The Joker in this movie is easily one of the greatest villians to ever chill audiences in movie history.

The Dark Knight was excellent! Aaron Eckhardt as Harvey Dent is the surprise of this film; his portrayal of Dent was the most interesting of the characters, imo. Christian Bale is once again 100% bad-a** as Batman, and as enjoyable to watch as other returning favorites Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine.
Though I am as saddened as most other moviegoers were by Heath Ledger's unexpected passing, he was not my reason for seeing this film. His portrayal of the Joker was quite scary, for lack of better words. However, if you have hyped this movie up too much in your mind, you may be disappointed by what you get. As a native Chicago-an and devoted Bale fan I greatly enjoyed seeing Bale running around the loop (where I work!).
Overall, a great cinematic adventure! haha

Overall, I have to give high marks to all of the actors who gave performances in The Dark Knight. I thought this was an absolutely spectacular movie that keeps you going all the way through to the very end. Sure there were points in the film where you could say this is gonna happen next, but it didn't really matter. There was so much going on in the film that anyone who truely believes in blockbusters at their best will not be one bit disappointed. The shear magnitude of all the action pack sequences grabs hold of you right from the start and doesn't want to let you go even after the credits role.
Overall, there is a little something for everyone in the Dark Knight...chaos, corruption, romance, thrills, chills, calamity, comedy, adventure, and action are just some descriptions of what makes this movie great. Oh yeah, as far as Heath Ledger is concerned, his performance was top notch and as mainy may say; Oscar Worthy. R.I.P.
Hopefully Christopher Nolan will try to top this one now with a third movie. I know Bale's in.

Somehow, I wish my parents were alive to see “The Dark Knight.” They would then understand why I spent my hard earned mowing lawns money to buy Batman comic books at a whooping 25 cents each!
Christopher Nolan has taken the story of Batman and comic book movies to a wholly new level. All future comic book movies will be forced to use his film as a barometer to succeed.

I have heard critics say 2 negative things about this movie- #1- Its too long and #2- Aaron Eckhart didnt do such a great job. Well let me tell you, those 2.5 hours fly by, it seemed like only a 15 minute movie to me. And I thought Aaron Eckhart did a fine job, just in the way I thought Katie Holmes did a fine job with her role in the previous film. *Maybe* there could have been someone better to play Harvey Dent, but he did just fine. I didnt think Maggie Gyllenhall was so fantastic in her role as Rachel but the main focus of the movie is The Joker, and my God, what a performance. Each time Heath Ledger was on screen my stomach was twisted up, and I could not breath. Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, and Morgan Freeman were just as brilliant in this movie as they were in the first one.

I saw this at midnight. It was truly worth the wait. Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker was excellent and Christian Bale showed us (again) that he truly is a favorable Batman.
I will say this, it was darker than I initially expected. It was deeper and darker than Batman Begins. Mostly it was the Joker scenes. They squicked me to a whole new level and remind me why I would never want to run into a man like him.

This movie is a nonstop action-fest. Heath Ledger's performance takes the Joker to a whole new level, and Bale does not disappoint. Make sure you have an empty bladder before the movie starts because there is no "slow" point that makes a good break.

The movie met my expectation. They all played their part and they played it well. The only thing I did not like was Batman's voice. I felt he could have done a better job. The Joker was amazing..Heath Ledger did an exceptional job and I cannot believe he is no longer here to see his final masterpiece. Two- faced was just as good playing his part... The movie overall was a must see. It was really good.

Ledger took the stage. He was incredible from begining to end. The movie was long but I enjoyed every minute of it. Christan Bale was great as well as Aaron Eckhart who played Harvy Dent/ Two Face. It was a Fresh portraail of Batman.

To begin, this movie was by far one of the best I have seen. I was a little skeptical that the movie would not live up to the hype, but within the first minutes, I knew it was going to be great. It exceeded all my expectations. Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker was everything people said it would be. It wasn't merely an actor playing the role...he was the Joker. Bale delievers another wonderful performance, which was to be expected.
