I have heard critics say 2 negative things about this movie- #1- Its too long and #2- Aaron Eckhart didnt do such a great job. Well let me tell you, those 2.5 hours fly by, it seemed like only a 15 minute movie to me. And I thought Aaron Eckhart did a fine job, just in the way I thought Katie Holmes did a fine job with her role in the previous film. *Maybe* there could have been someone better to play Harvey Dent, but he did just fine. I didnt think Maggie Gyllenhall was so fantastic in her role as Rachel but the main focus of the movie is The Joker, and my God, what a performance. Each time Heath Ledger was on screen my stomach was twisted up, and I could not breath. Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, and Morgan Freeman were just as brilliant in this movie as they were in the first one.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
