Aside from the fact that they killed someone off pretty quick I really enjoyed watching this movie the excitement and the actors over all was great. I wish one of the characters had a bigger more ongoing role but hey its already done and over with and it was a great movie.

This movie's plotline is masterfully thought out and incredibly dark. While i was very tired and sitting in bad seats, this movie had me scared to blink in fear of missing any of the actionThe joker's character is fully developed and beautifully played by the late Heath Ledger. Batman's character, played by Christian Bale, is both dark and light as the continuing struggle for acceptence, justice, and vengance play themselves out through this riviting sequel. The only question this movie leaves the viewers asking is what next? Most leave the theatre asking for more, and some just want to get back in line to buy more tickets.

Omg! This movie was amazing! Well worth the ticket price, the summers must see! Heath Ledger did an incredible job as joker..he keeps you wanting more! This movie doesnt feel like its 2 hours and 42 minutes long!! All i have to say is what are you waiting for I would def want to see this movie again!

The Dark Knight is by far the best movie of the year. It has some great writing, some fantastic acting - especially by the late Heath Ledger who steals the limelight.
Whilst the movie is long (2 hours 30 mins), it's action-packed, full of drama, and thoroughly entertaining. The only gripe I had was the lack of exposure for "two-face", but given how the Gordon and Batman wanted Harvey Dent remembered, it was the only logic thing to do.
I'd recommend to everyone to go see this movie at the cinema or the IMAX, nothing else will do the film justice.

Though Heath Ledger's death probably secured his Oscar for best supporting actor, he certainly would win it anyway. The movie was great in its own right, but The Joker is what really sets this film apart. The storyline is great, and Harvey Dent is a nice touch. it's one of those movies you don't realize how much you like it during the showing because you are paying too close attention to the movie to really think about it.

This movie really does live up to the hype, there are powerhouse performances by Heath Ledger, Christian Bale and the oft understated Gary Oldman. The supporting cast was superb however I found Maggie Gyllenhaal's performance a little lacking in places. The story is deep, dark, gritty and just fantastic.
The SFX in this movie are stunning as is the makeup and sound. This is a film that will go down as Legend in my opinion.

Heath Ledger hit the persona of the Joker dead on! He was wonderful! Chrisian Bale did a good job of being the Batman that those who read the original comic books and saw the television shows knew; a hardcore badass and not the wuss that Val Kilmer and George Clooney portrayed. A MUST SEE!

You must see this movie. While it helps if you are familiar with the Batman universe, it probably isn't a necesity.
I will go ahead and say that this is my favorite Batman movie thus far. Each and every actor gives performances ranging from solid to amazing. The new characters are what make the movie, though. Ledger as The Joker and Eckhart as Harvey Dent/Two Face.
The gutteral reaction when you first see Two Face is only matched by the reaction you get when you first see the Joker. Absolutely amazing in every way possible.

Powerful! Dark! This version of Batman is the best yet. Without a doubt, the success of this installment is based entirely upon Heath's performance. Heath steals the screen - sucking all the air out of the room - leaving most of the rest of the cast almost cardboard in comparison. You will marvel at Heath's performance - Oscar worthy!!! These last two movies finally give us an adult Batman and not a caricature. This is a must see for adults.

Jack was NOT back in this rendition of the Joker. Ledger mastered the screen without even trying. The insanity for the sake of true chaos, a concept that American movie makers have lost contact with proved re birthed and heralded with Ledgers performance.
Though this movie is not without the classic surprise and series of explosions. I will pay full price again and again to watched the painted man scare true villains into line.

Overall, this was a great Batman flick. They all did a fantastic job and the effects and action were great and Christian Bale did an amazing job, as always. I don't know if Heath Ledger will actually win an Oscar for his performance, but I do agree that he deserves a nomination for it.

From the opening, the movie takes you thru repeated problem ->solution scenerios leaving you thinking that the hero has won. Except that the Joker maintains an 'ace in the hole' and creates another problem. The tension is constant, the characters continue to be developed, will definitely see again and again.

Heath Ledger reaches beyond the grave with his eerily haunting portrayal of the Batman's nemesis in Christopher Nolan's refreshing, dark installment of this DC comic. Christian Bale's nocturnal hero was part Boy scout, part psychotic vigilante, but all superhero. The Bat's diurnal self was a perfect blend of Bondish swagger, Trumpish arrogance, and Hefnerish playboy. A must see.

This movie was awesome!!! I am actually going back to see it again in a few days!!! Heath Ledger's performance was out of this world. He really got into the part. You couldn't even tell he was acting. And he made the movie so funny. Action packed!!! There were a few snooze off parts but as soon as you look down BAM something starts right back up again!! this is by far the movie of the summer possibly the movie of year. not only was this movie badass... it was hilarious at times. hence when the joker wants to make a pencil disappear... you know the rest of it. even if you are a batman fan... heath ledger played the role of the joker to perfection and made the joker the more likable character in the movie to me

Better than Batman Begins, which I couldn't have imagined as possble. Brilliant storytelling, strong acting by each cast member, tons of action that actually drives the story & isn't just "eye candy," and as for Heather Ledger? WOW! Going in to The Dark Knight I was afraid that the death of Heath Ledger was going to overshadow the film. I was wrong, as a matter of fact, the film blew me away and was something totally different that I was expecting. The relaunch of this series with both films has been excellent and shows how this film should have been made back in 1989.
The movie is darker then I expected, Heath is exellent in his role as the Joker and Christian Bale continues doing the Dark Knight justice.

Great performances by all actors. Great story line. Some of the situations the Joker puts Gotham in reminds me of a Saw movie. It's definitely the darkest Batman movie ever. I think Heath does a great job as the Joker. In my mind he even surpasses Jack Nicholson as the best Joker. A must see for all Batman fans.

This was easily the best action/thriller since "Raiders of the Lost Ark" in 1981. More than a comic book film, it is a true crime saga of the highest quality.
Exceptionally well-acted, extraordinarily well-written and directed, this film hits its mark. It is a home run!
Heath Ledger brings depth to his role and should be nominated for best actor. Chris Nolan did a perfect job directing this film.
In short, this is one of best movies of all time. It is certainly a beautiful tribute to Heath Ledger and should be viewed by all.
This movie is definite must see!
