Though Heath Ledger's death probably secured his Oscar for best supporting actor, he certainly would win it anyway. The movie was great in its own right, but The Joker is what really sets this film apart. The storyline is great, and Harvey Dent is a nice touch. it's one of those movies you don't realize how much you like it during the showing because you are paying too close attention to the movie to really think about it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
