Easily the best movie of the summer. Full of action and thrills. Great acting on Heath Ledger's part, the Joker made the entire movie. He deserves an Oscar for that. Creepy and amazing Joker.

This is batman in the truest sense of the character. Great outing for the cast, hope there are 10 more. Lock Christian bale into multiple contracts and give him profits. Heath ledger has defined the Jjoker in this performance. A definitive portrayal. 10 stars.

Heath Ledger gives the performance of a life time portraying the joker in this movie. It was hard realizing there wasnt gonna be a third installment without him. the movie is great and the acting is first class. a must see this summer. make sure to catch it on imax!

It is still far too early to be labeling this one of the best movies of all time, but certainly not of this season. If you see nothing else this summer, at least make sure you see "The Dark Knight."
I was expecting a decent sequel to "Batman Begins" and got much more than I thought was possible. Heath Ledger produced a performance that so far surpassed any expectation that I could have had, his acting alone makes this movie worth seeing. But no, the real reason to see this is it is incredibly well written in an age where the script usually takes a backseat to action and CGI sequences. The filmmakers got this one right in just about every conceivable way.

This was the best combination of Batman v/s The Joker I have seen on screen so far! Heath Ledger is BRILLIANT as The Joker in this movie and for a brief moment... he lived! Christian Bale's portrayal of Batman gets better and better and I really hope that he gets to don the suit again.

I was creeped out by how well Heath did The Joker. It was just stunning to see.
Christian was, of course, a superb Batman. You could really feel his struggle between doing what's right and what's easy, because they're not always the same, especially in this Batman series.
Gary Oldman, Michael Cain, Morgan Fox, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Aaron Eckhart tied the whole thing together to make this movie excellent.
Overall, amazing. There was a lot of foreshadowing to look for, but the movie definitely wasn't predictable. There were a lot of unexpected twists that made you go "whaaaaaat?!"
Go. See. It. You will be missing out if you don't.

Most of the movie I sat at the edge of my seat which is not an easy thing to do...Since watching the first Batman, I have begun to greatly appreciate Christian Bales acting including seeing Empire of the Sun...incredible cast and while I thought it was all hype regarding Heath Ledger playing the Joker... it was one of the darkest characters I have seen in a while...just brilliant work... I think his best work.

In my opinion this was by far the best of all the "Batman" movies, and yes I do believe Ledger will get an Oscar or at the very least a nomination for he stole every sceen he was in. The entire cast did an incredible job and the movie kept me guessing. Excellent across the board......

I believe this is the reason why go to the movies. This is the reason why I pay the $12 ticket and $10 food (popcorn and soda) to watch a movie in theaters. Dark Knight is essentially the epitome of all comic book movies. You will not be more excited to see the dark and deep issues faced in this movie. It blows the mind away to see such a comic book medium be translated into a movie like Christopher Nolan has here. You should watch this movie just to have something to talk about with your pals because come Monday morning that's all they'll be talking about.

This was the best movie experience. The graphics were amazing, very well acted. Heath Ledger gives an exceptional final perfomance. One of two movies I've been to with a standing ovation following the feature. It is very long, but it is the shortest 2 1/2 hrs I've every sat through. This is a must see for any generation, although some gore may frighten young children. All in all, I give it 100% satifaction

I really enjoyed it. Heath Ledger was amazing but, the girl they replaced Katie Holmes with was not near as good at the role and is that ending consistant with the original story line? If it is,OK but I didn't care for it.
